  “Visited for Sunday lunch. Food was delicious. Our plates were piled high with perfectly cooked beef, vegetables and a huge Yorkshire pudding. We ate in the bar area as it is dog friendly. It's extremely comfortable and we were very well looked after. Thank you for an excellent meal and your warm hospitality.”

  “Lovely family meal yesterday at The Cromwell Cottage. I especially wanted to mention Katya who looked after us while we were there. Nothing was too much trouble for her and despite us making several changes to our order everything arrived correctly and at the same time. Shoutout to the kitchen staff for getting everything sorted too. Even an extra portion of onion rings only took 2 minutes to arrive. The restaurant itself is lovely and seating very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.”

  “Really enjoyed our visit to Cromwell Cottage Northampton. The food was really nice, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The location is also very accessible, which made the visit even more convenient. Overall, a lovely experience and definitely somewhere I’d highly recommend!”

  “We took my eldest son out for dinner as he was visiting us, the staff there are always very nice and attentive, our waitress Gabriella was particularly good. Our food was delicious, with the one exception of my dessert, the tiramisu was pretty awful, please change this, adding black coffee via a pot on the plate to a sponge cake isn’t tiramisu, it was a soggy mess to be honest, I absolutely wouldn’t have it again. Please put a traditional tiramisu on the menu. Otherwise a very good evening with an excellent discount offer via email which I used without any issues.”

  “We dropped by last week during the lovely just by chance, for a few drinks. We ended up eating too. Everything was perfect.great atmosphere and really friendly environment. Our waitress Katia did an exceptional job and was one of the reasons we stayed for a bite. Thank you so much Cromwel and especially Katia. Can't wait to come back”

  “This was my first time visiting this pub 🍻 🍺 for a dinner 🍽️, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. The vibe is excellent — easily one of the best pubs in Duston surroundings and even in Northampton. The staff are very friendly, and I genuinely felt at home. The food, cocktails, and mocktails were all extremely good. I love that the pub offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Evenings can get quite busy, so it’s better to book a table in advance. There’s plenty of parking available as well. The pub has a lovely countryside feel — spacious, welcoming, and full of good energy. It’s definitely a must‑visit.”

  “Had a fantastic lunch in the sun with some friends. The roast chicken was generous and delicious with a pint for 27 pounds, it was also great value. My friend also loved her crab and scallop pappardelle. What sealed the deal for us though, was the kind and friendly service from both Ella and Harry. They were very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure our experience at Cromwell was enjoyable.”

  “A worthy five stars for the quality of food and good service. The “weekend escape” menu provides a good quality two course meal. The starters of squid were great, but a pity the soup option was unavailable. The mains were cooked and presented nicely. It can get a bit loud and service was of a good standard. Prices are just about fair for the food. No service charge - it is always good to see establishments allowing the diners to decide any tips in the current economic climate.”

  “Me and my colleague were working on site over 2 days.. My thanks to Michaela, Lizzy and the rest of the staff for all the support we were given during our visit. ---------- The Cromwell Cottage is a very popular venue with exceptional decor and a team of very friendly staff. The kitchen was sending out some great looking food to many happy diners. Photos shown this is a really great looking place to eat and relax Well worth a visit.. 😎 (D)”
