Customer Review Summary
Gyros and the Greek salad draw the most praise, with reviewers repeatedly calling out generous portions, fresh flavor, and a fast, friendly service, including one diner who highlights consistently hot, well-presented delivery from a polite driver. The mixed platter and halloumi bites also come up as filling enough to share, and the chilli sauce gets a specific nod. Close behind, several mention student discounts and a casual, music-filled atmosphere that suits the Jesmond crowd. The recurring gripe is value for money: one reviewer balks at paying £7.50 for a small amount of halloumi, and another finds the meat-to-chip ratio decent but the pitta bread inside "like bits of cardboard" for the price. A newcomer to Greek food also found the onions heavier than expected but still enjoyed the overall flavor.

“Customer service: ***** Value for money: ***** Delivery: ***** Quality: ***** I've had a number of takeaways from here with family members and the delivery is always first class from a very polite driver. Food is delivered surprisingly fast and is always hot and we'll presented. Consistency and portion size is first class and quality is never compromised. You're my new favourite take-away ...”

“You do get a decent meat : chip ration. However, I did think it’s on the expensive side for what you get, and the little bits of pitta bread inside were like bits of cardboard. I did walk in to order and all the staff were polite. The chilli sauce was also very good!”

“Never had Greek food before so didn’t no what to expect but overall really enjoyed it plenty of flavour however next time I will order without onions as it did seem to have quite a bit on but overall really nice food”

How this listing is sourced
- Where the data comes from
- Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
- How it stays current
- Every listing is re-checked on a recurring crawl, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
- How it is ranked
- Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
