  “Been here a few times for drinks only. Staff are always friendly. We enjoy the cocktails. The food must be good as it gets very busy. Disabled bathroom downstairs and general bathrooms upstairs. There is a collapsible wheelchair ramp that can be used to access the restaurant. There is a couple of tables outside the front of the restaurant that can be used on nice days.”

  “Visited tonight and sat outside in the late sun. Service was fast and the food was fresh and tasty. The large halloumi taco is my new favourite!”

  “Food was tasty and well cooked. The Tortas were nice but the vegetarian one had no feta, when pointed out, the server apologized and brought more. The tacos were 2 tiny tortillas so had to order more sides which were overpriced. Lovely food and the staff were nice but the extortionate prices in relation to the portion sizes are beyond ridiculous. Won’t be returning as we have so many fabulous restaurants in Gosforth who offer value for money and you leave full!”

  “We’ve tried Lobo previously for evening meal and it was very nice so decided to come back to try breakfast option and OMG. Truly one of the best breakfast I had, steak and eggs absolutely delicious. Bit on pricey side but ok to pay the price for such a quality food. Recommend to try as we will be back again soon.”

  “My husband and I finally visited Lobo Rojo as it’s been on my list for a long time and it absolutely didn’t disappoint! From the moment we arrived, everything felt thoughtfully done. The venue is beautiful, and you can really see that every little detail has been carefully considered. The prices are very reasonable and the overall value is excellent. What truly stood out was the amazing, friendly service - warm, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. We’re so glad we went and will definitely be back :)”

  “Went in for lunch and food was lovely, I had the special beef Birra sandwich and chips which was delicious and my wife had chicken burrito which was also lovely so we ended sharing both dishes, staff were very helpful and friendly and interior is very well set out, definitely worth a visit”

  “I have mixed feelings about my visit here. The front of house woman just wasn't very welcoming or friendly and she ended up being our server. The prices are very high for the portion size, we were quite shocked. The food was so tasty and lovely but expensive for the money. I don't think I would return, I'll stick to little Lobo as the portions there are much better !”

  “Loved our tacos! The atmosphere is also quite lovely and vibrant with many colours. There are many cocktail options on the menu and it wasn't very busy when we went so we didn't need reservation (we went on Sunday afternoon). You have to try the biscoff churros as well. Coffee was quite nice too. Giving it 4 stars just because the prices seemed a bit on the expensive side for how big the portions were but we really enjoyed it so definitely recommend trying it!”

  “A great addition to the SoGo restaurant scene. Let’s start with some of the positives: - tasty, flavoursome food - easy online booking system - most staff were pleasant & friendly, if not a bit distracted at times - food was quick to arrive, plenty to choose from Things that could’ve been better: - Our small plates we hadn’t finished / been cleared before we were getting our mains so I felt a bit rushed - It took at least 15-20 minutes to pay, even after getting the bill - not a fan of the “discretionary service fee”, adds unnecessary uncomfortableness if you don’t want to pay it (this isn’t America!) Will definitely be back to try some other dishes - highly recommend.”
