  “Really lovely food. We came for breakfast on Saturday morning, booked for 9:30. The place was already full, granted it's only small. I had the steak and eggs with hashbrown side & sticky mango matcha. It was so good. Mexicana also very good. The place is definitely pricy - we paid £60 for 1 meal each, 1 drink each and a side.”

  “My sort of place, a group of 7 of us dined here and I went for the turkish eggs, wow Everyone of us had something different and all said it was amazing. Great atmosphere, staff are polite, food presentation sensational. Trust me you will not go wrong visiting these guys. Finished off our weekend in Newcastle perfectly.”

  “After years of intending to pay a visit we finally made it. Superb service, food and drinks amazing, lovely surroundings too. Can highly recommend the Mexicana and the Steak and Eggs. Seasonal drinks menu also superb, Peaches and Cream Iced Matcha was unreal.”

  “We’ve visited this restaurant three times for breakfast and brunch and have enjoyed it every time. On our first visit, we tried the whipped feta, Thai sweet corn fritters, and pancakes, which were all very nice and well prepared. On our second visit, we ordered the Mexicana, whipped feta, Thai sweet corn fritters , and the French Toast Suzette. The Mexicana was absolutely delicious, and the French Toast Suzette was exquisite—easily one of the best breakfast dishes we’ve had. It was so good that we came back a third time specifically for the French toast! Unfortunately, the menu had changed by then, and while the new version is still good, it’s not quite as special as the French Toast Suzette. We really miss the old recipe and would love to see it brought back. We also wish there were a gluten-free French toast option on the menu. That said, the gluten-free coconut cake was delicious and a great alternative. One small point from our most recent visit: we noticed a slight smell from the cups, which we suspect may have come from the dishwasher rather than the cups themselves being unclean. We appreciate that many people probably wouldn’t notice it, but we’re particularly sensitive to that kind of smell and find it difficult to tolerate. When we mentioned it, our waitress was very friendly and happily brought us plastic cups instead, which we really appreciated. The service in handling the issue was excellent. Overall, the food has been consistently enjoyable, and we’ll definitely return. Hopefully the French Toast Suzette makes a comeback!”

  “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely blown away by our brunch experience here. Every single dish was next level and honestly some of the best pancakes we’ve ever had. The Full Stack with blueberry compote, vanilla crème fraîche & maple butter was unreal!! Perfectly fluffy pancakes topped with juicy blueberries. Sweet, balanced, and impossible to stop eating. The dulce de leche Full Stack was pure indulgence in the best way possible. Loaded with silky dulce de leche, fresh banana, chantilly cream and chocolate shavings, every bite tasted like dessert heaven without being overly heavy. And those hash browns… WOW. Crispy, golden perfection topped with sriracha aioli and parmesan. The perfect savoury balance alongside the pancakes. The presentation was stunning, portions were generous, coffee was great, and the atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxed. You can tell there’s real passion behind the food here. Already planning our next visit. If you love brunch, this place is an absolute must”

  “Really nice food and drinks, staff were very polite and attentive. We will definitely be re-visiting here in the future. It's best to book a table in advance (we booked ours the day before) as it is a popular place, so expect tables to fill quickly 🙂”

  “Sooooo yummy and such a lovely atmosphere inside. We had booked at peak Sunday brunch time but still had a great time, were seated quickly, and were looked after. It’s no secret how great the food is, the menu is super varied and has lots of unique twists compared to the usual coffee shop/brunch menu. There are tons of things I’d love to try on the menu so I guess I’ll have to keep coming back… what a shame ;) The hot chocolate was AMAZING, and the coffee was great too, but the iced latte wasn’t full to the near-top of the glass and didn’t have quite enough ice in so had mostly melted by the time the espresso was poured over. Not a big problem at all, I’m just picky, and the member of staff had no issue with bringing some extra ice over when I asked :) We loved it and will definitely be back (and will be visiting Little Aidan’s too when it reopens).”

  “Absolutely loved our visit to Aidan’s Kitchen in Newcastle! This cosy café is a brilliant spot for brunch, and everything we ordered was top-tier. The cappuccinos were rich and smooth, and the hot matcha was equally lovely – a great balance of flavour and warmth. The pancakes were fluffy, generously sized, and cooked to perfection, just as many reviewers rave about. We also had the full English, and it was fantastic - hearty, well presented, and full of flavour. Portions here are generous, and you can really taste the quality and care that goes into each dish. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming”
