Customer Review Summary

Bottomless brunch is what most reviewers return to Alfie's for, with several describing drinks arriving fast, staff checking tables for refills, good portions and value, and a party of eleven including four vegans who were pleased with their food. Chicken comes close behind. Reviewers praise the Sticky Teriyaki chicken tenders, the Boujie Burger smash patty with truffle mayo and crispy onions, and crisp, seasoned chips. Not everyone was won over. One found the Hot hot honey chicken burger's three smallish tenders sloppy, with a dry brioche and dry chicken, and another said the batter on the Classic Clucker wrap went soggy. One felt charging extra for pickles was wrong. The music can be overpowering near the speaker, and one reviewer says it is hard to get seated when busy, suggesting booking a table in advance. Others describe a film-matched Eatflix night and a Bob Ross painting evening. One diner who tried the "I wing survive" wing was given milk to ease the heat.

“Had bottomless brunch here and also came for just food and beers. The staff are very attentive and always made sure we had filled drinks. The food is amazing, especially the chips. The music can be a bit overpowering if you're sat close to the speaker, but it's expected.”

“Amazing scran! This place ticked all the boxes. A perfect smash burger and incredible chicken tenders! I had the Boujie Burger. With this place being run by Brack I expected a top quality smash burger and I got exactly that. Great flavours from the patties, the truffle mayo, caramelised onions and the bacon. Pleasant crunch from the crispy onions too. All in a nice soft brioche bun. It's great that they have a list of burger add-ons but I do feel that £1.50 for pickles is wrong (especially for 4 slices). They should be on all burgers by default in my opinion though. I swapped out the fries for house slaw to allow enough stomach room for my Sticky Teriyaki chicken tenders. The taste of honey mustard was too strong for my liking so I left most of it. Although I had plenty enough food to contend with already so it did me a favour really. The chicken tenders were SUPERB. Delicious sauce coating hefty pieces of chicken which had a beautiful crispy batter. The star of the show for sure! Excellent value too. My partner had the Classic Clucker wrap which she really enjoyed and it came well loaded with chicken. The batter did go quite soggy though. She kept the fries with hers so I sampled a few. They were really crisp and seasoned nicely. I would've struggled to resist polishing them all off if I'd had some on my tray. Overall the food was top tier and the service was excellent too. The place itself is quirky and a cool environment to eat in. Definitely somewhere I'll return to in the future.”
