Customer Review Summary
Bottomless brunch draws the most mentions, and opinions on it split. Several reviewers describe drinks that are never empty, with prosecco, cocktails and beer, and fast, friendly service from a manager who was always smiling. One group of ten reports the opposite: a wait of over ten minutes for first drinks, slow ordering throughout, prosecco that tasted cheap, an extra charge for orange juice, and a manager who came across as rude. The same reviewer says a coeliac guest was served from shared plates despite advance notice, and that sharing plates along a long table felt awkward. Outside brunch, diners single out the short ribs and garlic prawns, festive topped fries, cocktails, a fish finger ciabatta and a preordered finger buffet, though one notes few vegan options. A hen party found the room clean, spacious and available early for decorating. One diner describes staff helping stage a surprise marriage reproposal in front of family, friends and colleagues.

“Arrived at 11.50am and were the only ones in. Food was lovely, piping hot and decent value. It soon filled up with other groups but the bar was always available.”

“Hi, I just wanted to share some feedback following our bottomless brunch visit this Saturday with a group of 10. While the female staff were genuinely lovely and clearly doing their best to help, the overall experience was unfortunately quite disappointing. After arriving, we waited over 10 minutes for our first drinks, and throughout the brunch the service remained very slow, with long waits both to order and receive drinks. It felt like the venue may have been overbooked with large groups, which made it difficult to keep things running smoothly. We also found the interaction with the male manager uncomfortable, as he came across quite rude and abrupt at times. This made us feel hesitant about ordering further drinks, which isn’t what you’d expect from a bottomless brunch. In addition, one member of our group was repeatedly missed when drinks were being prepared, despite us mentioning it several times. The drinks themselves were also disappointing. The prosecco tasted very cheap, and a number of people in our group struggled to finish it. We asked for orange juice to go with it, but were charged extra, even though spirits and mixers were included in the package, which didn’t feel consistent. The food setup was another challenge. Serving everything as sharing plates for a large group along a long table was awkward and impractical, especially as not everyone knew each other well. We had expected individual dishes, which would have made the experience much more comfortable. Most importantly, one of our group is coeliac, which we made clear in advance. Unfortunately, their food was still served on shared plates, meaning they weren’t able to eat safely. This was very concerning. Overall, the way the brunch was run really put a damper on what should have been a fun day. We had planned to stay longer and enjoy the balcony, but we ended up feeling unwelcome and disappointed, so chose to leave earlier than we otherwise would have. I wanted to share this feedback as we had been really looking forward to the experience for my friends 21st birthday ✨️”
