Customer Review Summary
Live rock music is what reviewers return for, with gigs described as regular, ranging from popular cover bands to original acts and a heavy metal crowd. Close behind is the atmosphere, called electric and friendly, along with friendly staff and a good selection of beers and ales. Reviewers also single out surprisingly good cocktails and a pint priced well for a city centre bar. One visitor from Scotland returns repeatedly, and another made a 450 mile road trip home from a gig. Reviewers raise a few drawbacks. One says the low ceiling distorts the singer and sound, though it did not spoil the night. Another describes a blackened, sticky floor and urine soaked toilets, while still calling it a comfortable old-school dive. The one negative review comes from a gig-goer who was let in by the door staff on a college ID, then asked to leave by the bar for the same card, which was not accepted. One reviewer also warns about the local bus lanes near the venue.

“Ist time here, it's got a fab atmosphere for being a 'rock bar' 🍻but because of the low ceiling the singer& sound can be a bit distorted but doesn't stop you for having a great night. Definitely recommend for a fun night out with mates if you're into heavy metal music 🎶 🤘”

“Great venue. Friendly vibes. Worth the 450 miles home road trip. Don't get caught out by the local bus lanes mind ...the only downside to a great gig! Namaste 🙏”

“So I went into trillions for a gig and the bouncer let me in with a college ID that had my birthday name and picture on… I got ID again from the bar even I wasn’t near it or actively buying a drink and got told to leave is that fair? They said they don’t accept student cards but if that is the case why did the bouncer let me in he shouldn’t of if they don’t accept it.”
