Customer Review Summary

Garlic mushrooms come up repeatedly as a favorite, alongside praise for the garlic bread and dishes like lasagne and tagliatelle, with many describing the food as authentic and the staff as friendly and accommodating, even adjusting orders on request. Several reviewers say they return regularly, some for years, and call it the best Italian food they've found in Swansea. A few notes are less positive, with one reviewer describing slow service and mediocre ambience despite good portions. More seriously, one diner reports a cold, dry, reheated lasagne after which they and their partner said they became unwell, and another describes an oily, unbalanced Aglio e Olio that reportedly caused stomach pain, alongside an account of rude treatment from a waitress and a perceived difference in how the party was treated compared to other guests. Most reviews, though, close on repeat visits, takeaway requests for extra food, and plans to return.

“A lovely welcome to a small restaurant with great atmosphere not over decorated, really excellent food and I found an Italian cider which went very well with calories and the garlic mushrooms had a tiny touch of chilli. Couldn't fault in any way, definitely will return even though 3 hours away.”

“My friends and I have been coming here for the best part of two years now, and at times we’ve been visiting week after week. That alone says it all. Hands down, this is the best authentic Italian food in Swansea — you’ll be hard pressed to find anything that even comes close. The quality, flavour, and consistency are always spot on. It’s a well-run, well-established family business that genuinely seems to have its customers’ enjoyment at heart. You can tell there’s real care and pride in both the food and the service. Kudos to Luisa and Mas! We’ll definitely keep coming back — highly recommended.”
