  “Cozy restaurant with absolutely delicious food. Great quality ingredients, I particularly loved the chicken breast with pomegranate sauce, it was the most tender chicken I've had! The staff are delightful and very friendly, the bastani with some Persian tea was a great way to wrap up a wonderful meal.”

  “An amazing night at Poemgranate! So glad I chose this restaurant. Has an amazing ambience and great selection of food. We had the hummus and olives to start which were lovely, especially the hummus. The mains were also fabulous. Would 100% recommend to anyone in Didsbury for a warm, tasty meal with great atmosphere!”

  “Amazing food in big portions! Tge best naan I have ever had and I highly recommend starters with aubergine, I didn’t know I could tolerate that veg until tried their starters! 😆 The atmosphere and service are superb.”

  “Amazing restaurant, really cosy atmosphere and great service. The food is amazing, you can tell the put a effort into making it tasty yet feel homey. The rice is particularly fluffy and tasty, making every meal a treat. It really feels like someone's family is behind those recipes. It's always a treat to come here and eat with my girlfriend.”

  “Highly recommend. The Babaganoush was the best I have ever had. Also had the spicy meatballs. Spinach start I would miss. Super lovely staff, great setting and final opinion: we will be looking forward to coming back.”

  “I checked out this place over the weekend and the food was just alright. I’ve never had Persian food like this before and not in a good way. Even the bread served with a warm starter felt more like naan from an Indian restaurant than authentic Persian bread. The rice was also quite different from what you’d usually get at traditional Persian spots, which was surprising. That said, the Mirza with naan and egg was delicious and definitely worth trying, and the chicken we ordered was very soft. None of the dishes had any real kick to them, likely tailored to the local demographic but they did have nice flavours overall. The customer service was excellent, and the decor was quirky and charming. Parking is available on nearby roads, free after certain hours in the evening. I’d recommend giving it a try once, but I don’t see myself going back for another meal.”

  “Fantastic little place with a lovely atmosphere. Super tasty food based on authentic recipes. Parking is a challenge in the immediate neighborhood but you can park in the hospital's car park a corner away for really cheap. Table reservation is recommended.”
