About Nando's Salford Quays
Nando's Salford Quays is an Afro-Portuguese chain restaurant in Manchester, at Unit 2, built around flame-grilled peri-peri chicken made with African bird's-eye chilli. The chicken comes at different heat levels, so each diner can choose how much spice to take. The butterfly chicken comes with peri chips, spicy rice and other sides, and garlic bread and brownies fill out the menu. Sagres beer is available as a drink. The interior is large and has plenty of booths. Orders go through the app, and the Nando's card is accepted. Peak meal times and weekends usually have a wait for a table. The restaurant closes in the evening, and it sits near the Lowry theatre.

Customer Review Summary
Service is what reviewers return to most, with several describing staff who checked in during the meal, welcomed a solo diner, and handled a smashed bottle of sauce with kindness. One reviewer says a manager spotted a Sagres beer that wasn't bubbling and replaced it before they noticed. Food draws steady praise too: diners mention the butterfly chicken, garlic bread, brownies and chicken that arrived freshly made and flavourful, and a few say the ordering app and quick drinks kept things moving even when busy.

“I’ve eaten at this Nandos quite a few times now but was particularly impressed with the food and the service. We visited just after attending the Lowry theatre so was expecting the place to be busy. They were well staffed so we didn’t have to wait and the food was delicious as always. The manager (didn’t catch his name) was particularly helpful and friendly. I would highly reccomend”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant service at Nando’s Salford Quays! From the moment I walked through the door, the team were attentive and welcoming and got me seated straight away. The restaurant was really busy when I visited, with what looked like a private event/large booking taking place, but despite that, the tables were clean and presentable and the service was spot on. A special shout-out to Keny, who served me. She was bubbly, warm, professional and really well presented. She communicated brilliantly and even helped me with my Nando’s card information, nothing was too much trouble. Anj also deserves a mention. Once my food arrived, she came over to check everything was okay, made some lovely conversation and even checked whether I needed any sauces or anything else. Great attention to detail! And then there was Phil, the manager, who noticed that my Sagres beer wasn’t bubbling properly before I’d even realised. He immediately pointed it out, replaced it with a fresh one and was welcoming throughout. Considering how busy the restaurant was, I genuinely felt like I received 5-star service from start to finish. Keny, Anj, Phil and the whole team, take a bow! 👏 You guys are awesome and a real credit to Nando’s. It’s clear that the team care about their customers and take pride in what they do. Fantastic service. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”
