About Reflexion Salford Quays

Reflexion Salford Quays is a halal restaurant at 252 The Quays in Salford, and it describes itself as the UK's first official Meduse Lounge. It is also billed as the first glass-fronted waterside lounge, so the front of the room faces Salford Quays and the waterfront. Brunch anchors the menu, with a full English breakfast alongside a Premium Carnivore option. Croissant dishes include the Buttered Bird, built on buttermilk chicken with garlic and chipotle mayo. Sweet orders run to the Oreo Madness pancakes, served with white chocolate and ice cream. The drinks list pairs the brunch plates with options such as the Dragon Fire smoothie, for guests who want something other than coffee.

Customer Review Summary

Brunch is the draw here, and the Oreo Madness pancakes are the dish reviewers name most, described as fluffy, indulgent and loaded with Oreo, white chocolate and ice cream. Close behind are the savory plates: the Shak Attack, the Buttered Bird with crispy buttermilk chicken in a croissant, a steak with a crisp peppery crust, the Premium Carnivore and the classic full English. Drinks such as the Dragon Fire smoothie, an iced matcha latte, the Strawberry Mojito and the Blue Lagoon mocktail get praise as refreshing. Reviewers also mention the waterfront views, a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff, with one server singled out repeatedly for talking diners through the menu. The criticisms are fewer but specific. One reviewer calls it overpriced for the portions, saying the money could not even buy two pieces of toast, while granting the service was nice. Another reports poor service, a bad attitude and a steak below standard. A third wanted a runnier yolk on the eggs Benedict, and one found the kitchen out of oat milk.

“We honestly loved every dish we tried here and couldnt really fault anything! The steak was the highlight! Very buttery meat with a crisp peppery crust 😍 This also came with eggs and their own hashbrowns made in house! We also went for the classic full english which came with spicy chicken sausages that were perfect in flavour! Another highlight was the Croissant which had smashed patties inside, the meat was really flavourful and all in a Croissant? Yes please! If you want a sweet yet savoury option the chicken and waffles is one to try! Slight spices in the chicken with sweet waffles and maple syrup, a proper American style breakfast! We also opted for the pancakes which were so soft and fluffy, perfect to end the meal 😋 We would definitely go back here in a heartbeat, amazing breakfast, great interior and pure vibes!”

“Had an amazing brunch at Reflexion Salford Quays. We ordered the Premium Carnivore and The Classic breakfast, both were packed with flavour and cooked perfectly. The Oreo Madness pancakes were an absolute highlight – fluffy, indulgent and loaded with Oreo goodness. We also tried the Strawberry Mojito and Blue Lagoon mocktail, which were super refreshing and paired perfectly with the food. Great atmosphere, excellent service and definitely one of the best brunch spots in Manchester. Highly recommended!”

“Reflexion Lounge absolutely delivered on every level. From the moment we arrived, the vibe was relaxed, stylish and welcoming, with gorgeous views across Salford Quays making it the perfect brunch spot. A special shout out to Romasa, who was an absolute star. Friendly, attentive and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, she took the time to talk us through some of the dishes and drinks, offering great recommendations and insights that genuinely enhanced our experience. It’s always refreshing when a team member is so passionate about what they’re serving. We started with the Dragon Fire smoothie, which was refreshing, fruity and packed with flavour, followed by an iced matcha latte with white chocolate and vanilla syrup. As a matcha lover, this was such a treat - creamy, smooth and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. Food wise, the Shak Attack was bursting with flavour, rich and comforting with a lovely kick of spice. The Buttered Bird was another standout, crispy buttermilk chicken paired with garlic and chipotle mayo in a buttery croissant was an absolute dream combination. Then came the Oreo Madness pancakes. These were every bit as indulgent as they sound. Fluffy pancakes loaded with Oreo goodness, white chocolate and ice cream, creating the perfect sweet ending to our brunch. The presentation was beautiful throughout, portions were generous, and every dish felt thoughtfully put together. Reflexion Lounge has nailed that balance between great food, quality drinks and genuinely warm hospitality.”
