“Best steak and eggs. Portions were huge. The french toast is good for 3 people. Staff is very welcoming. Absolutely loved our visit 👌”

“Just been to this spot for brunch, and it didn’t live up to our expectations. The food itself was the main letdown. The medium steak was dry and had none of its juices left. It was also bland and lacked its natural flavour. It didn’t come with steak sauce either, just a honey sauce. The hash browns were soggy through and through and had zero crispiness to them. The turkey bacon was the same as well, but the sausages were nice. The drinks were alright and decent. We went to the café bright and early, so there was no wait time, and we got a table straight away. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The lady working upstairs was attentive. A shame really as it could have been a nice local spot for us to visit again for brunch.”

“Absolutely amaazzzzzing. Just fabulous! From the deco to the staff to the food , just outstanding. Definitely worth the wait. They were really busy and even with the busy bank holiday rush they manage to deliver. I loved every single thing we ordered. The portions were really large. I would highly recommend and will definitely go back. Thank you to the all the staff that served us. Especially the lady that was serving us. I forgot to catch your name. This is such a family friendly oriented place .”

“Absolutely incredible! Watched this cafe be under construction and then open and I had to go before I moved away. And safe to say it was everything I thought it would be! Beautiful interior, attentive and kind workers. And that’s not even mentioning the food! We had the Brunch at the bay and it was delicious, steak cooked exactly how we asked and a really well put together meal. I also had the white chocolate matcha and my mum had the latte. Both just as good! The gentlemen at the til also rounded the bill down which was so kind and generous. This level of quality and customer service for the price is insanely good and I would recommend this place to anyone! Just amazing!”

“I recently visited Monaco Café and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was amazing—warm, inviting, and perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. The food was fresh and full of flavor, and you can really tell they use quality ingredients. The portions were generous, which made it even better value for money. The French toast was honestly the best I’ve ever had—crispy on the outside, deliciously rich inside, and perfectly prepared. Overall, I highly recommend Monaco Café for anyone looking for great food, a lovely atmosphere, and satisfying portions. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

Customer Review Summary
Steak is the dish reviewers raise most, with the medium strip steak and peppercorn sauce called perfectly cooked and sensational, and one reviewer naming the steak and eggs the best they have had. French toast comes close behind, described as crispy outside and rich inside, with pistachio and Nutella and berry versions, and big enough to share between two or three people. Reviewers also praise the Monaco smash burger, the baklava, the mocktails, the oat caramel latte and the white chocolate matcha, along with friendly, attentive staff and generous portions. The caveat is execution and waiting. Lower reviews describe a long wait for a table and for food, with one reporting about 40 minutes after ordering four dishes and another about an hour, with food arriving a little cold. Others found the steak dry or tough, the hash browns soggy, and the Turkish eggs thin and pale. Reviewers also call the menu small and mention paid parking. One reviewer notes the cashier rounded the bill down.
