Customer Review Summary
Railway lamb is the dish reviewers name most, called excellent by one diner and the one to order by another. Close behind are the Gobi Manchurian, though one reviewer wanted more crunch, plus the prawn kolivada starter, momos, and the biryani and grill. Several praise the friendly staff, a mocktail and cocktails described as refreshing, and the locally brewed IPA, while the Indo-Chinese set menu is called great value. Food is described as arriving hot and quickly, in good portions. A few reviewers raise reservations. One found the food more bland than spicy and rated it a 6 or 7 out of 10, and another said the toilets could use refurbishing. One diner was asked how the food was eight times by four different people, and a January discount was missing from the bill until they asked for it to be redone. The same reviewer called the corkage on the BYOB policy high, at a couple of pounds per beer bottle and more for wine. One diner ended with a free dessert brought to the table.

“Once again a fantastic meal with perfect cuisine and wonderful staff both male and female. The best service came from the excellent Venkat. The beautiful Saloni was also fantastic. She brought a FREE delicious dessert and ruined my diet haha! This is the most hospitable, well-run restaurant I have visited with amazing food. Thank you so much to all the staff. It's the best curry in Manchester hands down!”

“I think the food here is pretty nice. We ordered quite a few dishes between the two of us. We were in the area we went looking at the reviews. I do think that this place is more for white people than native people. The food is not spicy it’s more bland but it does taste okay. The food itself I give a 6 or 7 out of 10, but the vibes are good. It’s very clean the place itself is done up really nicely. Overall it’s a 7.3 out of 10.”

“My favourite place to eat. Best Indian restaurant I have visited. Never disappoints. Locally brewed IPA tops it off. Venkat and Vishakha always ensure you are looked after.”
