About Salford Curry King
Salford Curry King is an Indian takeaway at 239 Eccles New Rd in Salford, with a menu that puts curries and a second set of rice and noodle dishes side by side. Butter chicken covers the curry side. Schezwan fried rice and Chicken 65 come from the other, so a single order can mix the two styles. Hakka noodles and chicken lollypops are on the same menu, which gives a group ordering together more variety to choose from. The kitchen also cooks vegetarian options built around paneer, along with lamb dishes and a tandoori range.

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An outstanding meal at Salford Curry King! We ordered a fantastic selection of dishes, including Chicken Nuggets, Lamb Chops, Cake, Diet Coke, Water, Paneer Tikka, Chicken 65, Chicken Fried Rice, Schezwan Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Noodles, Butter Chicken, Steam Rice and Naan — and honestly, every single item was excellent! The food was fresh, flavourful and cooked perfectly. The lamb chops were delicious, the paneer tikka was full of flavour, and the Chicken 65 was absolutely spot on. Both the fried rice dishes were excellent, and the butter chicken was rich, creamy and delicious. The noodles, steamed rice and naan were also cooked perfectly and complemented the meal beautifully. What really stood out was the consistent quality across every dish. It is not often that you order such a wide variety of food and genuinely enjoy every single item, but Salford Curry King delivered on all fronts. A brilliant meal, excellent food and great value. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend Salford Curry King to anyone looking for delicious food in Salford! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”

“I was craving indian street food, specifically Masala Dosa. Akil, the manager at site greeted me with kindness and respect. I made him aware of my craving and he started to prepare my meal without any delays. The team here are so kind, calm and give a positive energy which reflects in the atmosphere. Attracts diverse crowds so please do not hesitate to visit this place. The food is prepared and delivered with perfection. The team work really hard to get through orders and aim to ensure they are delivering customer service to the highest standards. There is plenty of free parking on street and also round the side of this venue. The area is safe and reasonable. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and met some lovely people. It was great, I did not want to leave. I encourage anyone to try out this place. They have plenty of options, lots of different foods to try so choose whatever tickles your taste buds. Pictures taken with consent from the boss himself. Please note, there are no toilet facilities here for the public. Salford Curry King - Continue to do what you are currently doing. The positive environment you have built is whats going to attract good customers. I pray you continue to attract the real people and elevate your cultural diversity because while I was there, it was already visible. Thank you for satisfying my cravings, I came in happy and left super excited. Service delivered with a smile.”

Customer Review Summary
Paneer tikka comes up most often, described as full of flavour, with the butter chicken, called rich and creamy, close behind. Diners also single out the lamb kadai as a real standout, along with lamb chops, Chicken 65, lamb korma and the tandoori mixed grill. One regular praises the Mumbai-style dahi puri and masala chai. Several describe friendly, welcoming staff, food that arrived hot and fresh even for a large party order, and reasonable prices. The criticism is specific. One regular who ordered chicken Schezwan lollypops received a tiny plain fried lollypop, and the veg hakka noodles had such big chunks of cabbage that the noodles had to be searched for. Another found the lamb bhuna and chicken balti tasted alike, too saucy and more of tomato base than spice, though the mixed starter was nice. One diner's chicken biryani portion was big enough to feed two people.
