Customer Review Summary
Diners most often praise the delicately spiced food, with the lamb chops and lamb shank called exceptional and a chicken dish described as quality cuts with a lovely kick. Others name amritsari fish, chicken bhuna, coriander and pea pilau rice and garlic naan as delicious. Close behind is friendly, quick service, along with reasonable prices, especially for drinks, and clearly labelled allergens and vegetarian options. Complaints are fewer but specific. One reviewer found the naan hard, overcooked and small, and noted a small table, a loud room and no hot sauce with the popadoms. Another was told at the door that the restaurant was closed even though Google listed it as open, and found the staff impolite about it. Portions draw mixed comments, with one calling them huge and another finding the chicken portion small. That first party ordered more than they could eat, and staff happily packed up their untouched mains to take home.

“As I walked in, the staff told me they were closed, even though Google clearly showed the business as open until 11:00 PM. If your actual hours are different, update them on Google Maps. I understand that things can happen, but turning customers away while showing incorrect opening hours is frustrating and unprofessional. The staff could also have handled the situation much more politely. Basic hospitality means communicating properly with customers, even when you are closing early.”

“They do the simple things right and the dishes have a beautiful depth of flavour. The service was fabulous and the staff thoughtful and professional. Couldn’t redone d it enough if you like Indian food! The spice level was spot on, a lovely building warmth that accompanied the creamier dishes brilliantly. Thank you Arnero ❤️”

“This place is a lovely little gem in the heart of Manchester. The food is really tasty, and very delicately spiced. The staff are brilliant, and chatty. The atmosphere is good, with no loud music to drown out conversation (a pet hate of mine). The drinks are also reasonably priced, and they serve proper coke in the bottles (a rare find these days!). No complaints here, we will be back!”
