“Great coffee and tasty food at a reasonable price. The cappuccino and flat white were both well made with rich flavour and smooth milk, and the banana bread was fresh and delicious. “This cafe serves the best quality matcha in Manchester, though it’s at the higher end of the price range. Their matcha has a rich umami flavour that leaves a strong, lingering aftertaste. I definitely recommend going for unsweetened matcha to savour its complex taste profile. However, matcha clumps are found even after stirring it thoroughly (not shown in the photo).”

“Despite the wide range of matcha options, it didn’t deliver the expectation or justify the high price point. We ordered no.88 and no.32 and we couldn’t really tell the difference in taste profiles. Both iced and hot matcha lattes were diluted and flat. The milk was overpowering the matcha.”

“Really impressed with this place! The coffee beans are excellent – you can tell the owner puts a lot of care into selection and roasting. The matcha was also a highlight: rich, smooth, and nothing like the standard matcha powder you usually get. The shop is clean and beautifully decorated, with outdoor seating that's perfect for catching up with friends. The staff were super welcoming and attentive too. They also sell freshly roasted beans at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!”
