  “By accident I entered the cafe, not knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised by the food the service and their halloumi focaccia and the coconut milk cappuccino .. everything was delicious and serving time was quick. They offered a replacement for a dish ordered by mistake with no charges .. now that’s a coffee shop I will revisit for sure.”

  “The staff here are friendly and one lady was kind enough to help me with a public transport question. The cappuccino is absolutely delicious, the best I’ve had in a long time (living in Germany). The spicy Italian focaccia was great as well. If I were staying in this area I’d be back often for the cappuccino alone. The benches sit a little low for the height of the tables but otherwise the seating is comfortable and the atmosphere is nice.”

  “Best coffee in Manchester? Probably. I come here whenever I’m in the office - Coffee Lab is brilliantly located No matter what side of central you’re in. Greek coffee every time for me- and occasionally a little treat. Gets me through the day, but also a great comfy and warm atmosphere to sit, work, write, meet with friends or just chill and watch the world go by. WiFi is a bit slow if you’re doing heavy data tasks but workable for most other things.”

  “Nice little place. Arrived early on a rainy Tuesday morning. Lovely staff, quiet but nice chilled atmosphere overall. Cofee great, class coffee art! Food, avocado/poached eggs on sour dough. Good although eggs slightly under done, just my preference perhaps.”

  “Really helpful and friendly staff. Decent breakfast and brunch options to cater many people.. I opted for a small breakfast (not pictured as I was too hungry to wait!) Really good quality food which was fresh and flavoursome. My partner had Sweet French toast and thoroughly enjoyed it. She enjoyed the fresh fruit and the variety that came with it. Would definitely come back”

  “I come here every time im back home and its become a new favourite hangout spot honestly. the drinks are so lovely and there's a huge variety so to have quality and quantity is really impressive. I'm always driven mad by how many choices there are on the shelves with cakes and food too, i honestly want to just try all of them but unfortunately that is frowned upon in the public eye. the staff are also super friendly and patient and theres never standing around for your food or drinks, you're encouraged to take a seat and relax so they can bring you the food. really lovely place, I'm so glad i saw it on Instagram and actually committed to coming🫶🌻”

  “The food quality was far below expectations and definitely not worth the price. The “top sweet” from the packaged selection looked unappetising and tasted stale. The Oreo waffles were particularly bad — they contained visible lumps of sugar that hadn’t been properly mixed or dissolved, making the texture gritty and unpleasant. The sandwich was equally underwhelming, lacking freshness and flavour. The avocado and egg option was especially disappointing; the avocado tasted off and the overall combination was bland and poorly prepared. Overall, the meal felt rushed and poorly executed.I would not recommend it based on this visit at least not for the food”

  “Popped in for first time as we thought it looked ok and we weren’t disappointed. Staff were lovely and helpful. Decaf was strong hot and nice . Sausage barm was excellent. Will definitely come back. Clean toilets also 👏”

  “When this place opened was my favourite place to order from. Drinks were amazing, food is high quality, and atmosphere is relaxed. I have given this place 2 stars only for the friendly staff, and the quality the brand attempts to represent. Sadly being friendly isn't enough, the place lacks standards, water glasses are often dirty, plates served on found stained many time, tables are not cleans properly, or half asked, and walls next to corner tables are stained. These all are minimum standard, but there are some suqlity issues too, the hot chocolate is too diluted and sweet, and the coffees milk can be overfrothed. Its the little things, like putting a mug on plate after adding chocolate powder not before, wiping chocolate on the side of the mug before serving, and polishing water glasses. Seems pedantic, but these things make the staff look like they are lazy and they don't really care. All these things are little improvements that can have the cafe stand out and be more appealing, and it appears in the lack of managerial attention to detail at this place, plus staff don't seem to have been trained enough. Its a shame, I used to love coming here and bringing my friends. I hope you found this as a constructive criticism, considering the number of staff I don't see why these quality control problems are an issue. Just want the place to go back how it used to be when opened.”

  “I am a regular to this cafe. I come a few times a week. I love the atmosphere and the friendly staff. The chef and all the staff are very welcoming. The food is nice and the coffee are amazing. I love how cosy this cafe are. I usually have business meetings here, and all my clients love it here. Definitely one of my favourite cafe in town. Recommended!”
