  “Overall not a great experience, a staff members was engaged with a friend of their with a conversation that lasted quiet sometime which meant they team was 1 person down. Asked for a Corrado which is equal parts espresso and milk - they gave me a flat white……… the guy then went “I can remake it if you want” OF COURSE I DO - I ASKED FOR IT IN THE FIRST PLACE Anyway, coffee wasn’t remade bc i don’t like food waste, but please do better and stop thinking your customers don’t know what they order”

  “I was really excited to try the matcha at Blank Street, especially since it was my first time. I actually came from another country and made a special trip just to try it after hearing so much about it. Unfortunately, the matcha wasn’t made well at all. The people I was with, who have had Blank Street before, even said the quality wasn’t what it usually is. When I politely mentioned it to the staff, they didn’t seem interested in helping or offering a solution. The drink tasted almost entirely like milk, with barely any matcha flavor, so I asked if they could add a bit more matcha to fix it. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, they simply told me I would have to pay extra for any modification. The staff were unwelcoming and unhelpful, which made the experience even more disappointing. I had been so excited to try Blank Street and even made a special trip while visiting from another country. Sadly, this was my first and will definitely be my last visit.”

  “This is quickly becoming my favourite coffee shop in Manchester! not only is the coffee fantastic (my personal favourite is the iced mocha cold brew latte) but the staff are excellent! In particular I must pass on my highest commendations for Lucie and her exemplary customer service & managerial skills. Her professional, friendly and warm demeanour was the reason my one random initial visit has turned into a regular occurrence, when I was having a bad day that day her kindness and empathy really showed me how there still is good people out there! Thank you Lucie and to all the team at blank street Piccadilly Gardens for the great coffee and chats!!”

  “We ordered simple late and and late with cherry. The place is just overhyped I don't know why! We are coffee lovers and tasted good coffees in many many places. Here the coffee has no taste, no flavor, no smell even no color as you can see. We just felt we had milk that too tested horrible!”

  “It can get super busy and loud in here but they usually get to your drink quite promptly! I don't really like any of their coffees but I've had their iced earl grey matcha several times now and it's fantastic. As expected the matcha flavor is not very strong at all and in fact, the strongest note you'll taste is probably vanilla bean but the floral aroma from the earl grey and the very subtle matcha go well with it. Tasty and unique drink from Blank Street that would be great for introducing to Matcha skeptics!”

  “Tried the Vanilla Matcha for the first time today and I’m officially obsessed! I’ve always been curious about matcha but hesitant to try it—this was the perfect introduction. It was incredibly smooth, perfectly sweetened, and not at all bitter. The Manchester team was super friendly and the shop has such a chill, clean aesthetic. New favorite spot!”
