Customer Review Summary
Breakfast is the main draw, with reviewers singling out the hash browns and a breakfast sandwich one diner rates above other fast food chains for its egg that tastes like egg and soft buns. Burgers get praise as bigger than a rival chain's and flavoursome, and the seasonal drinks, including a sweet iced matcha and a peach and raspberry frappe, are liked with breakfast. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly and quick, and the self-service screens are credited with shorter waits. A lift to the upper floor also earns a mention. Cleanliness splits reviewers: some find the premises very clean, while one describes dirty tables covered in litter and filthy floors at 8.45 p.m., and another notes no staff wiping tables. Seating is called cramped and squeezed into one half, and the drinks draw mixed verdicts, with an iced vanilla latte called average and an iced French vanilla latte too creamy and sweet to finish. One diner found the waffle fries served too cool, and another felt uneasy about a security guard constantly walking around.

“Visited for coffee at 8.45 p.m. tables dirty covered in people's litter. Floors are filthy with food and litter throughout the place. Unpleasant experience not welcoming at all.”

“Love the breakfast here, for me much better than a Mcds breakfast if you just want something quick and easy…..and not that healthy 😂😂 the hash browns are so good. The burgers are also pretty good. Recommend place for fast food.”

“Very clean premises. The best breakfast sandwich out of all fast food chains. The egg tastes like egg. The buns are really soft and taste like real bread.”

“Its OK. First time visit and found waffle fries served too cool but burger sizes were bigger then McDs and flavoursome. Staff efficient but not particularly frendly like in most fast food places. Alot of space but seating squeezed into one half and need replacing. Not a busy night but buns overflowing.”

“One of my favourite things about this Tim Hortons location is how they’re open late - the opening hours are usually between 11 pm and midnight, making it one of the latest spots in the city centre to grab a coffee, the location is central, right on the corner of Market Street, opposite the tram stop in a two-floor unit formerly occupied by Jessops. As these opening hours were extended over the holidays, I visited here a couple of times as it was one of the only places open. I’m not a big fan of the interior, as I do find the seating to be rather close together, especially downstairs, which can feel pretty cramped at times. The upstairs is a bit better, and they even have a lift. There is a security guard who works here; he was friendly and helpful, but it felt a little uncomfortable to me to have a security guard constantly walking around. While I can understand why it’d be needed due to the location and late opening hours, I do feel this role could be more discreet, but still there for when needed. On my past visits, I’ve ordered an Iced Vanilla Latte and an Iced French Vanilla Latte. The iced vanilla latte was fine; I’ve certainly had better elsewhere. It was average and no better than what I could make at home. On the other hand, the Iced French Vanilla Latte was super sickly - it was too creamy and sweet, and I couldn’t finish it all. The cleanliness of the tables could be better; there didn’t seem to be any staff members going around to keep everything tidy. Overall, it’s a good spot to have in the city center and the late-night openings help a lot, but it isn’t somewhere I’d visit during the day when there are alternatives, but it also isn’t a place I’d drag my feet to visit either.”
