Customer Review Summary

Cake draws the most mentions, with pistachio cake, carrot cake and Oreo and red velvet cake named and several calling it delicious. Two reviewers found the cake dry, and one would not recommend it. Lattes come close behind: the pistachio, lavender, Earl Grey Manchester Rain and Biscoff lattes are singled out, and the coffee is called excellent. Brunch plates like the vanilla french toast and ultimate breakfast ciabatta are described as tasty. Most mention friendly staff, quick service and a quirky, relaxed feel. The harshest review describes being moved to a table by open pipes where the diners could not face each other, an iced coffee with curdled milk, a milk refill that spilled, and food called mediocre. One calls it slightly spenny. Another describes being seated at the only free table, with a queue outside as they left.

“The place is beautiful and the service is very good. They made a mistake with my drink, but I was too embarrassed to ask for a replacement. Even so, it was good. The scone was quite tasty. I don't recommend the cake; it was rather dry. Overall, a great place for brunch! I'll go back and order something that's perhaps more their specialty.”

“We came in and were seated but they then moved us to this horrible table (as seen in the pic) since they needed our spot for a bigger group. There was so much dust, open pipes, we couldn’t face each other. it was dirty and shouldn’t be an option to use that as seating. I ordered an ice coffee which was so strong and the milk had actually curdled. I asked for more milk so I could drink it and they brought it back filled to the top so it quickly spilled onto the table. The food was completely mediocre - I could have cooked better at home. The service was nothing special either, no one made us feel welcome. Just sit and eat and leave vibe. Not coming back, wish I’d never gone.”
