  “For a coffee shop charging around £4 per cup, I think it’s reasonable to expect polite and attentive service. I asked for my drink to be extra hot and, despite being the only customer at the time, this wasn’t acknowledged by either barista. In particular, the woman serving didn’t smile or respond when I asked how she was, which made the interaction feel quite unwelcoming. I completely understand that working on a Sunday morning isn’t always easy, but a basic level of friendliness and getting the order right should be standard. Unfortunately, this visit didn’t reflect that, and it left me disappointed. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend.”

  “The prices here are higher than in other cafes nearby, so I would expect the service or the quality to be better. The fact is it’s £3 for a croissant and a lot of the time the croissants are either flat or just burnt. The coffee is hit or miss , and the service is very slow, as a customer I don’t need to see the staff sorting out the delivery while I’m waiting to order.”
