About Foundry Project Manchester

Foundry Project Manchester is a bar on Thomas St in Manchester that serves a bottomless brunch with a DJ playing, and a bottle of prosecco waits on the table at a booked brunch. The brunch runs in a two-hour slot, and table service brings the drinks to you. Avocado on toast sits on the brunch menu, while the wider menu includes a Halloumi starter and a Crispy Fried Chicken Burger. The venue is large, with plenty of seating and a bar. A function room holds up to 50 people, which gives groups a space of their own. For World Cup games, the team puts up screens and flags.

Customer Review Summary

Bottomless brunch is what most reviewers come for, and the praise centres on drinks that keep flowing, food described as delicious and lovely, and servers called attentive and friendly, with several singling out individual servers for keeping the table topped up and one arranging a cake for a 30th birthday. Reviewers also mention a lively atmosphere, a DJ, and a bottle of prosecco waiting on the table. Close behind, one diner enjoyed halloumi and the Crispy Fried Chicken Burger, and another came for the World Cup atmosphere with flags up. The caveats centre on service. One reviewer reports waiting 40 minutes for a first drink in a two hour slot, being served drinks only twice, and finding a service charge added without being asked, with minimal avocado on the toasts. Another was given wrong information about an offer and was rudely told the mistake would not be corrected, even after the server admitted it. Several reviewers also mention booking ahead and requesting a favourite server for Manchester Pride.

“Had a bottomless brunch for my mum’s, we had such a great time at the bottomless brunch! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was really fun and there was a great choice of drinks. The service was also amazing, with everything arriving quickly and the staff being so friendly and attentive even with a huge group of people to attend to. Our sever was Taemar, who provided fantastic service throughout our visit. They were friendly, attentive and made us feel really welcome. Taemar went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect even with a bunch of people to tend to , and their service genuinely made our experience even better and she was just a lovely person in general. And Chris the manager was also very welcoming and was just exceptional aswell. Overall, it was such a fun experience and we would definitely come back and recommend it to others! 💗x”

“Huge place with plenty of seating. They have really good and enticing offers. We went here because they had a great vibe for the world cup games with flags etc put up. Food was pretty good! Our issue was with the service - we were not given the right information about one of their offers and when we went back to enquire, we were rudely told it's a mistake which wasn't going to be corrected now. It just ruined the experience and it was very odd for the server to admit to her mistake but still be so rude instead of making amends.”

“We came here for bottomless brunch. Ive visited this venue a couple times prior and whilst having had good experiences for I would not recommend the bottomless brunch We waited 40 minutes before being served our first drink (for a two hour slot) Throughout our duration, we were only served twice for drinks, and service charge was added onto the payments, not being checked in with the party before paying whether this was okay. Food itself was quite minimal with not much avocado on the toasts, service didn’t provide the attention expected as highlighted with long wait times & lack of service to the table (2 drinks being provided in a £38.30 allowance) . Would recommend for casual drinks in the week with bar service, but bottomless brunch/table service, it doesn’t quite measure”
