Quick info
About Croft NQ Bar and Kitchen
Croft NQ Bar and Kitchen is a pub in Manchester city centre, on Nicholas Croft and within walking distance of the surrounding centre. The kitchen runs a menu of classic pub mains, with pies served alongside a jar of gravy, pizza, and a Sunday roast, plus vegan and vegetarian versions for those who need them. Mains are half price all day on Mondays and Tuesdays, which makes the start of the week the cheaper time to eat here. Board games sit in the pub for anyone settling in over a drink, and the bar pours cocktails and a range of beers as well as coffee and hot chocolate. Tables outside give the option of eating and drinking in the open air, and dogs are welcome to come along. The doors open daily, and reservations are recommended if you want a table held.

Customer Review Summary
Food leads the praise here, with the fish and chips singled out by one visitor as among the best they have had, the batter judged neither too thick nor too thin and the tartare sauce properly sharp. The pizza draws a similar reaction from two others, described simply as delicious, and close behind sit the Sunday roast, praised by a regular who comes in with groups, and a pie served alongside a jar of gravy. Staff come up almost as often, described as welcoming and chatty, with one reviewer noting a vegan member of the team happy to advise on veggie options, and several mention a midweek food discount that kept the bill lower than expected. The tone is not uniformly warm: a repeat customer downgraded their view after being refused a hot water top up for a pot of tea and found one older member of staff miserable and rude, while a brunch diner felt a single thin slice of sourdough was too little. One visitor describes lingering a couple of hours over a hot chocolate, watching the trams go by.

How this listing is sourced
- Where the data comes from
- Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
- How it stays current
- Listings are re-checked in batches against their public profile, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
- How it is ranked
- Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
