About Beech Inn Chorlton-Hardy
Beech Inn Chorlton-Hardy is a pub at 72 Beech Rd in Manchester that builds its food around pizza, with an extensive pizza menu as the main offer. At the bar, real ales include Timothy Taylor's Boltmaker and Landlord, alongside craft beers and cocktails. Behind the pub, a large beer garden has a big covered area, which gives diners and drinkers a sheltered space as well as room to spread out. The pub has three different seating areas, and sport plays on the TVs, including a big screen at the back. Dogs are welcome, and a few are generally around.

Customer Review Summary
Real ale and craft beer draw the most comment, with reviewers naming Timothy Taylor's Boltmaker and Landlord and praising how well kept the cask selection is. Pizza comes close behind, and several are surprised at how good it is for a pub, with one noting the large pizza menu despite it being a chain. The setting also features often: a sunny seating area out front, a large beer garden at the back with a covered section, and separate areas with a big screen for sport. Reviewers describe friendly staff and a welcoming local crowd, and one suggests booking a table for a particular match. The one detailed complaint is about service. A reviewer says bar staff laughed when asked about the advertised brunch, drinks placed through the QR code never arrived, and they were only fetched after the pizza came, with the ticket machine blamed and no apology. Dogs are welcome, and one reviewer says a few are generally around, while the pub can get packed after a West match.

“Pizza’s are amazing. The service however was terrible. We asked about the brunch that’s advertised and the bar staff said I don’t know and laughed. We then ordered in the QR code, drinks didn’t arrive, asked if we needed to collect them, the bar member told us they don’t do drinks in the QR order so we checked and we had. Waited for the pizza to arrive to ask and mentioned we hadn’t had our drinks was told the ticket machine sometimes doesn’t work so he got the drinks. No apology, no customer service. At least the pizza was good.”

“Best pub in Chorlton for live sport. Would recommend booking a table if there’s a particular match you want to watch. They have three different areas.”

“What a great pub. The staff are very nice and happy to help with anything. Locals are welcoming. There's a nice garden at the rear which has a large covered area. They do mainly pizzas, there very good too. For those of you who like real ales there's plenty which are well kept. Reluctantly writing this review as I don't really want anyone going to the pub, just want to keep it to myself. 🙂🍺”

“Came here mid week for a quick pint while the sun was out. Sat out the front but looks like there is a nice beer garden too. Also ended up getting a pizza and I was very impressed considering this is a pub, the pizza was a lot better than expected. Very clean place and friendly staff too. Looking forward to coming back here again for more beer and pizza.”
