  “Spacious pub in a great location. A lot of food and drink options. Kids menu is also good. We had nachos, fish and chips, wings etc., all were fresh and tasty. Service is good too. The staff check on you and communicate well. Prices are reasonable. There is also sizeable outdoor seating for good weather days. It's a Greene King pub so you could order from the app too. Would recommend for a relaxed meal and drink for anyone in Macclesfield.”

  “I’d like to start this off with how much of a lovely clean quiet pub this is. We were there from 12-14:30. This was my first visit and I would return. My only issue was the mess up when I ordered my food, myself, Mum and Aunty was tried to charge £1 extra. Doesn’t seem much but I can’t imagine how much profit a pub would make if they made this mistake with everyone. I’m not sure if it was a till issue but my Mum said this occurred the last time they went which was a few months ago so it’s rather disappointing it’s still not been resolved. I will add that the lady behind the bar did seem frustrated we’d questioned this which was a little off putting but it was sorted quickly after. Other then that our waiter Harry was an absolute pleasure. Asked multiple times if our food was ok and if we needed anything and took great care of us, he was absolutely lovely. Food is reasonably priced and you do get a good amount for your money but the Cod Ciabatta was a little bland to be honest and the ‘Lunch’ menu is very limited. There’s a fair bit of space around the pub for sitting which is great too. Toilets are clean and well kept. Overall it is a nice place :)”

  “Went to a surprise birthday party here (not mine, a friend's). Food was very nice, a variety of hot and cold dishes offered in the buffet. A bit of a wait at the bar, initially, but it was very busy.”
