About The Town House
The Town House is a Greene King pub on St Anne's Rd W in Lytham Saint Annes, near the railway station in St Annes. A weekly Texas Hold'em poker night with a buy-in runs alongside darts and two pool tables, giving regulars three ways to play. Live sport appears on the TVs, with Sky Sports and TNT Sports among the channels. The kitchen turns out pub classics, including Chick 'n' Mix and a burger deal. At the bar, cocktails come by the glass or by the pitcher, and a buy-one-get-one-free wine offer is part of the drinks list. The pub also has room for groups and coaches.

Customer Review Summary
Friendly staff and a lively atmosphere come up most, with reviewers describing a welcoming local that suits catching up with friends, watching live sport and bringing dogs. Cocktails by the glass or pitcher are close behind, called good value alongside weekly food deals such as the burger deal, cheap Chick 'n' Mix on Thursdays and buy-one-get-one-free wine. Praised dishes include the katsu chicken strips with rice and the chip shop curry. One ale drinker found only Greene King IPA on cask but enjoyed a real cider from the handpump, and a poker night with a small buy-in is singled out as friendly. Food is the weaker side for some. One reviewer called it ok, with worse and better elsewhere. Another found the Chick 'n' Mix burnt and the Sunday dinner poor, with reheated mash, jelly-like gravy and vile stuffing, plus a flat Coke and a lime and soda with no lime, and asked for a refund when the full plates were left untouched.

“I would be careful eating in here. the woman with long blond ashy hair believe she is the general manager picking her nose and eating it at the bar, whilst she was scrolling on her phone just before she was handing out food plates to customers tables.”

“If you’re looking for a pub that truly feels like the heart of the local community, then The Town House in Lytham St Anne’s is hard to beat. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes everyone feel at home. Whether you’re popping in for a quick drink, watching the match, or spending an evening with friends and family, there’s always a fantastic buzz about the place. The pub is well known for being both dog-friendly and family-friendly, making it a venue where everyone feels welcome. What really sets The Town House apart, however, is its incredible team. The staff consistently go above and beyond to ensure every customer has a great experience. A special mention has to go to Keegan, whose friendly personality, professionalism, and excellent customer service make every visit memorable. Equally deserving of praise is owner Tashsa, whose dedication, hard work, and passion are reflected throughout the pub. Her commitment to creating a welcoming environment is clear to see and has helped make The Town House such a popular destination. The atmosphere is second to none—friendly, relaxed, and inclusive. Regulars and first-time visitors alike are made to feel part of the community, and it’s easy to see why so many people keep coming back. Sports fans are well catered for too, with live sport regularly shown on screen, making it a brilliant place to catch all the big games with fellow supporters. reputation.”

“Best casual pub Poker in all of St Annes, Phil is an incredible Poker director. £5 buy-in to play Texas Hold-em with incredibly diverse and genuinely nice and heartwarming people. Wednesday burger deal is amazing!”

“Friendly staff, great atmosphere, buy-one-get-one-free wine, and cheap Chick ’n’ Mix on Thursdays all for £9.89, honestly, what more do you need? Some of the negative reviews seem to be expecting Michelin-star food, but for what this place is, it’s brilliant. Really enjoyed it and I’ll definitely be back next week.”
