Customer Review Summary

Breakfast draws the most praise, with reviewers describing a sausage and egg sandwich and drink deal, a full English alongside a pint of Guinness, and a delicious mushroom benedict, which one reviewer recommends. Several call the staff friendly, say food arrives quickly, and describe the pub as clean, with tables wiped soon after they empty. Ordering on the app or at the bar is called easy, and the onion rings are singled out as very hot and very good. Real ales and the front, side and rear patios also get mentions. Criticism is more scattered. One reviewer found the app order took too long to appear, with drinks arriving well before food and most tables left dirty. Another describes a group at the front table swearing loudly while staff said nothing, and several customers moved away. Others found the double cheeseburger lacking in taste, the chips warm rather than hot, the pizzas just ok, and rubbish on the beer garden floor. Two reviewers mention the trek upstairs to the men's toilets, with the disabled toilet as the alternative.

“We are local and call in every week. Last Monday Bank Holiday we visited around 3.30pm and at the front table nearest the bar sat a group of local men in their 60s and every other word from their loud mouths was f-ing this f-ing that. Several people left and Several people moved away. The management and staff could obviously hear and said nothing!! We all ready have a very loud woman who is almost a daily visitor who always sits on the table near the gambling machines. We are happy that Mr Tim Martin has banned open micro mobile phones now let's ban uncouth loud mouth morons. What impression must tourists have. Come on spoons, a quiet word to the culprits is required”

“Ordered on the Wetherspoons app based on table no. The App took too long to complete so I tried to confirm the order status? Was at the online order counter to confirm but no one paid attention until I spoke to the person who was making people's drink. I saw my orders and I said mine is there. Even my drinks came 5 min after I spoke to him. Another 20 minutes before food came. So in all 30 minutes of sitting at a table. So in all 40 minutes before we found a table empty as most were left dirty with people's meal.”

“Had a sausage and egg sandwich and drink deal. I had gone to McDonald's before this but due to poor service (waiting 30 minutes for an oder that didn't arrive) went here instead. Good service, reasonable price and friendly service. I regularly attend Lytham for work and will definitely be going there again for breakfast before going on site. Better service than McDonald's, cheaper than McDonald's, more convenient for site than McDonald's.”

“This is a brilliant spoons. Really clean and well presented with plenty of seating. There's the normal great Wetherspoons menu with for everyone. We came for breakfast which was delicious. Recommend the mushroom benadict. It's easy to order on the app or at the bar. The food came quickly and was very well prepared providing great value for money. All the staff were really friendly.”
