  “There must be some real miserable moaning and fussy people who have left low reviews. They are talking shit. DBA is a lovely place to eat. Service is great, the atmosphere is also great. The staff were very helpful. Not to mention exceptionally beautiful. We went after cricket for some food with the Dunton cricket team. Even though they only do take away of bar meals, they brought the food outside to our table. We had duck, pancakes, with vegetables. Hot chilli salt chips, spring rolls, curry triangles. It was spot on. Good value. Definitely worth going. For the food and the beautiful bar maids and waiting staff. I'd crawl over 3 fields of broken glass, just to throw stones at their windows! Lol.”

  “If you enjoy food, don’t waste your time. I don’t know if it was just an off day for the chef or what but there is nothing good or Chinese about the food. The Szechuan prawns were served in Hong Kong sweet and sour sauce, satay chicken was watery and had no peanut in it but did have pineapple for some ungodly reason, salt and chili chips were just normal chips, aromatic duck was soggy and pancakes cold and thick plus the hoisin sauce was definitely not hoisin sauce. Prawn toast was okay although was cold and more like bread than toast. Everything was bland and room temp or cold, came out of the kitchen super fast which begs the question why and how? The only thing Chinese in that restaurant were the waving cats and the staff who also weren’t particularly happy/nice/helpful. Not even a hint of MSG. Not sure who was giving out an award for this place, must have had a cold on the day they tested it. You couldn’t pay me to go back here.”

  “We initially tried to get a table in the asian restaurant inside the pub but it was full.we were given a table near the bar, the atmosphere was lovely and staff really nice ,plus the food is delicious, a great night out and a free car park round the back”

  “Absolutely one of the best chinese meals I have ever had. My colleague and I came away feeling full, the food was delicious and the place is bustling. Well worth an extra drive out to eat here for the price and quality of the food. To add to this, the pub sells quality beer and if you fancied decent prawn toasts with a pint, you can! Its a win win!”
