Customer Review Summary
Breakfast draws the most praise at this independent cafe, with reviewers naming waffles, pancakes and a large breakfast as delicious and good value. Close behind are the bacon sandwiches and bacon cobs, with one regular saying the cobs are nicer, plus paninis and a good range of vegetarian food. Friendly, welcoming staff come up again and again, along with quick service, comfortable seating and clean facilities, including a clean bathroom. Portions are described as plentiful, and the food as not posh or fancy. The main reservation is late-day quality. One reviewer who arrived late found everything cold and advises getting there early, and another calls prices slightly above average, though friendly staff offset that. One reviewer calls it a great place to meet, and another is pleased to find a few boardgames in the cafe.

“I've been here a few times now, enjoying a bacon sandwich or a bacon cob (the cobs are nicer) and a hot drink. The prices are slightly above average but that's offset by very friendly staff. friendly clientele and even a few boardgames, which is always a nice sign in a cafe. I wonder if they'd be happy with folks like me coming in to play D&D. Perhaps one day I'll ask.”
