“Was delivered food with a lot of straight hair in it- I have curly hair. Threw up. They won’t answer the phone. Disgusting”

“As a Latino, soup has always been comfort food and a staple in my life. Pho Viet 101's beef pho truly hit the spot. The broth was rich, flavorful, and deeply comforting—exactly the kind of soup that warms both the body and soul. What stood out most was the attention to detail in every bowl, from the quality ingredients to the perfect balance of flavors. The customer service was equally impressive, with friendly staff who made me feel welcome and well taken care of throughout my visit. Thank you for your excellent customer service and dedication to providing such a wonderful dining experience. I will definitely be back for another bowl of your outstanding beef pho.”

“Delicious food, we tried a few different things on the menu, well done and rare beef bun hue, pork bun, salt and pepper chicken wings, pork summer rolls, all 10/10. Really kind and accommodating people running the store!”

“This is a very small restaurant, with only two small tables, and it seemed to be run by a Vietnamese family. Despite its size, there was a constant stream of takeaway customers. The young lady serving us was very polite. We ordered a bowl of beef bún and BBQ pork bún. These are traditional Vietnamese rice noodle dishes, served with salad and fish sauce. When the bowls arrived, we were immediately impressed by the generous portions of meat, noodles, salad, soup, and sauce. Both the pork and the beef were well marinated without being overly salty. The pork was tender, especially the pieces from the belly. The beef, seasoned with black pepper, was generally firm but not tough. However, a few pieces of pork and beef were very chewy, perhaps because the cuts were quite thick. The fish sauce provided the dressing for all the ingredients. It had a sweet, sour, and slightly spicy flavour, although it leaned towards the sweeter side. There was a gentle savoury aftertaste. As we were dining in, I felt that some of the plastics or paper bowls were probably unnecessary. Overall, although there is still some room for improvement, the food we ordered offered excellent value for money.”

“Best Bành Mì we’ve ever had! Delicious tofu curry too. Tofu in the Bành Mì was loved by someone who would normally be eating chicken - so it means a lot. Complimentary soup was adored. Cat was wonderful and made our whole visit super lovely. Will be back xxx”

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the banh mi, with the BBQ pork and tofu versions named, and one reviewer says the bread is better since the shop returned to its original baguette. Close behind are the beef pho, whose broth is called rich and comforting, and the bun bo Hue and pork bun, which diners describe as generous with meat. Salt and pepper chicken wings, pork spring rolls and Vietnamese iced coffee also get mentions. Reviewers describe a very small shop with only a couple of tables and a steady stream of takeaway customers, and many call the people running it kind. One diner says a table was brought in so they could eat, and others received complimentary broth or soup. Complaints are few. One says the banh mi has too many carrots, which made a mess in the car, and another found some pieces of pork and beef chewy. One reviewer reports finding hair in a delivered order, says they threw up afterwards, and says the phone went unanswered. Among the happier accounts, one reviewer says a free bowl of broth arrived while they dined in.
