Quick info
About Tapas Brindisa Soho
Tapas Brindisa Soho is a Spanish restaurant at 46 Broadwick St in London, built around an open kitchen in a conservatory dining room. The back room has a high ceiling and a large skylight, and some tables sit near the kitchen. The menu covers tapas, bar snacks and charcuterie, with octopus among the dishes. Plates are small, so guests order several each, and they arrive as the kitchen finishes them. A pre-theatre menu is also offered. Counter and bar seating puts diners in front of staff who serve the drinks, and the list includes wines, beers, vermut and cocktails, with staff recommendations for wine. Walk-ins are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
Diners most often praise the small plates, with the octopus named repeatedly as tender and succulent, alongside the Iberico pork cheeks, bone marrow and prawn rice. Close behind are the wine list and recommended pairings, the sangria, and the drinks at the bar, while one reviewer says they had never had olives this good. Reviewers describe friendly, attentive service, including a bar team that made a solo traveller feel at home and a waitress whose recommendations all landed. Vegetable choices and dishes arriving as they are ready also draw mentions, and one suggests asking for a table in the back room near the kitchen, with its high ceiling and skylight. The main complaint is a steak that one diner found very chewy and hard to eat at its price. When it was raised, the team offered only a dessert rather than a replacement, which left that reviewer disappointed. Another reviewer wished the octopus had been sourced from the UK.

“We visited Brindisa Soho and overall had a good experience. The atmosphere was lovely, the service was friendly and the rest of the food was really good. However, the steak was a big disappointment. At £50, I would expect much better quality, but unfortunately it was very chewy and difficult to eat. We raised the issue with the team, but instead of offering a replacement or another solution, we were only offered a dessert, which I found a bit disappointing considering the price of the steak. Overall, a nice restaurant with good food and atmosphere, but I think they could have handled the situation much better, especially when charging £50 for a steak”

“I had a wonderful dining experience. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Every dish was prepared with care and exceeded my expectations. The service was equally impressive VICTOR was attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout the meal. His professionalism and warm attitude added so much to the experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to coming back!”

“We had just walked in to this hidden small restaurant in Soho. Really enjoyed the food and the attentive service. Food was delicious and perfectly matched with the recommended wine. I would definitely return again and bravely recommend this small but lovely restaurant. Would of been even better if the octopus was sourced from the UK😉”
