Quick info
About Wok to Walk
Wok to Walk is an Asian restaurant in London, at 4 Brewer St, where every dish is cooked to order in front of the customer. Ingredients are laid out in a chill cabinet, so diners choose their own before the stir-fry starts. Those who would rather order a set recipe can pick Pad Thai or Yakisoba. Others build their own wok from a base of rice, noodles or veggies, then add proteins, toppings and one of the sauces. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available. Inside, a few tables and seats facing the windows give diners somewhere to eat on site. The restaurant is open daily.

Customer Review Summary
Diners most often praise noodle dishes cooked to order in front of them, with pad Thai, including a prawn version with fried garlic and cashews, and chicken chow mein named most. Beef udon, lemon pepper chicken, chicken gyozas and spring rolls also draw mentions. Reviewers describe fresh, flavourful food, fast service and friendly staff, and several point to generous portions, especially the protein, with one ordering whole grain rice, coconut curry sauce and crispy chicken. A few call the place clean and a fair price for central London. The caveats are specific. One reviewer found the chilli oil intensely spicy and would order one spice level down next time, and another reports that vigorous wok cleaning splashes dirty water into the open sauce containers beside the cooking area. Others mention the music and the seats facing the windows. Even the reviewer who suffered through the chilli says they would order the same bowl again.

“Stumbled upon here while looking for some cheap food in London and was pleasantly surprised. The food is served fast as lightning, it is full of flavour and exactly what is written. You get a really nice big portion for what you pay. I ordered the whole grain rice with the curry coconut sauce and crispy chicken. The amount of protein you get is phenomenal! If I'm ever in London I'll definitely visit again! Also the music Is really nice, the seats facing the windows add an amazing atmosphere.”
