About El Señorio Criollo
El Señorio Criollo is a Peruvian restaurant in London, at 12 Peckham Park Rd, with a kitchen team from Peru. The menu pairs seafood and slow-cooked dishes, and the duo marino puts ceviche alongside pescado frito on one order. Seco de cordero comes with rice, beans, a small salad and yuca, so the plate arrives as a complete meal. Owners run the restaurant themselves. Chicha morada sits on the drinks list as a Peruvian option alongside the food.

Customer Review Summary
Diners return most often for the ceviche, which several call fresh and full of flavour, whether as a ceviche mixto, in a duo marino paired with fried fish, or served alongside pollo a la brasa. Cassava fries and chicha morada also earn praise, and one first-time Peruvian eater found the drink refreshing. The seco de cordero, lamb with rice, beans, salad and yuca, is described as hearty and filling, though one reviewer found the big chunk of meat a bit dry. The tres leches cake gets a mention for not being too sweet and staying moist. Portions are repeatedly called generous, and reviewers describe friendly staff, owners who are super friendly, and a team that is all from Peru. Several liken the atmosphere to family, and one says they were greeted as if they were family the moment they arrived.

“I had a wonderful experience at Señorío Criollo. The portion sizes were very generous, which I really appreciated. The service was excellent, especially from the waitress who was attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome throughout the meal. The food itself was outstanding. Every dish was full of flavor, but the pollo a la brasa and the ceviche truly stood out both were incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. I loved everything about this place and will definitely be coming back many more times. Highly recommended! 10/10”

“After all these years living in London, I’ve finally found a place that truly represents real Peruvian food. Everything is cooked with love and authenticity, generous portions, fair prices, and excellent service. Edwin (who looked after us) was amazing, and the whole team is from Peru. You can really taste the tradition in every dish. My friends ordered pollo a la brasa and I ordered duo Marino which is ceviche and pescado frito. It’s a bit hidden and not right in the centre, but that’s what makes it such a gem. If you’re looking for authentic Peruvian food in London, this is the place.”
