Customer Review Summary
Sopa de maní comes up most, with diners also praising a Pataska soup that recalled home, and one noting a single soup could feed two people. Salteñas are close behind, described as large and tasty, and one reviewer who walked past followed the smell, bought some and heated them in the oven at home. Tamales en olla and al horno, picante mixto, chicharrón de cerdo and a breakfast dish of rice and melted cheese also earn mentions, along with childhood sweets like baton and nucita. Reviewers describe an authentic, homemade feel, a mostly Bolivian clientele, friendly staff and a welcoming owner behind the counter. One notes the menu seems to change day to day. The one reservation comes from a reviewer who finds the room not very cosy, though calls that authentic too. Portions are repeatedly called huge, and one diner says that after ordering a soup alongside a main, the main goes home to be eaten the next day.

“If I have to choose a favourite part about this place would be the absolutely delicious food. The flavours are divine and the combinations of ingredients is mouthwatering. Since I love meat, every dish has more than plenty. My second favourite part about this place, is the portion size. A soup could feed two people. You order a soup and a main dish, and you end up taking the main back home with you, where you are going to eat it the next day. The staff is friendly and polite. The stop at your table and they talk to you making meaningful conversation. I would definitely recommend K'awi. One of my favourite places in the whole UK. Definitely to try.”

“Wow, an authentic Bolivian restaurant in London! I was welcomed into this stylish cafe/restaurant and advised on what to choose as the menu is written in local Bolivian! Im not sure which language exactly as Bolivia has 36 different indigenous languages and Spanish. Traditional latin music fills the spaceous and clean, very atmospheric seating area. I ended up going for a traditional Bolivian breakfast dish of rice and melted cheese which was seasoned well and very tasty. Hopefully ill be allowed back. 10/10”

“Living in London as an American Bolivian is tough, especially when you live on the West side. All the Bolivian restaurants are closer to the east side in Elephant & Castle. Luckily enough, there are a few spots that exist when the Salteña cravings hit. Jenecheru is one of them. The salteñas and sopa (soup) were very tasty. Good large sized salteñas. Really liked that they had a lunch special available from 12pm -6pm. (Not many places in London have this). I will need to come back for this as well. The lady behind the counter, who I believe was the owner was extremely nice and welcoming. If you're in the area (or even if you're not), I'd say check them out for some hearty Bolivian food!”

“Really good Bolivian food with a friendly service. We had lunch here, we had Sopa de Mani and an Salteñas for starters. As mains we had Picante Mixto & Chicharron de cerdo. All of it was very tasty, with huge portions. Would definitely return to try more!”

“Typical Bolivian restaurant, with dishes my family used to cook! Perfect homemade quality and quantity, visited by almost only Bolivian people while we were there. Not very cosy, but that’s authentic, too. Try it out if you want to try real Bolivian dishes!!!”
