Customer Review Summary
Reviewers who praise the food single out egusi soup with pounded yam, a plate of suya, and generous portions, with one calling the egusi better than any that had satisfied them before. Customer service is the most frequent complaint. Several describe staff who were rude or inattentive, one reporting an order taken by two people that left out the puff puff, another a pickup order still not prepared well after the agreed time, with no apology or compensation. Others fault the shop for having no price list on display and for not issuing receipts as standard. One reviewer says the food display is left uncovered, and another reports that T. Beans bought here was full of sand. One diner was refused Chapman with a rice deal and told only water was available, though other branches allow it. One reviewer, however, finds the store spotless with friendly staff, and another says the suya costs less than at the Camberwell road branch.

“I usually buy from this spot so I wasn’t expecting any issues . I came to peckham to do some shopping then I was hungry so I went to somewhere I recognised. When I got in like usual the shop was very busy , it came to my turn to order and I ordered my food however the person taking my order kept getting distracted then left mid order . I was taken aback so I just stood there. Another person came to take my order and they put the stuff in the bag. As I was carrying multiple things I couldn’t check what was in the order or if everything was there , also assuming i’ve been here multiple times and they haven't forgot anything before today. As i got home i was now ready to eat when i realised they forgot my puff puff . I was angry because the person taking my order was asking me how much puff puff i wanted so i was confused on how they forgot to put it in my bag. I called to let the store know so there could be some kind of intervention. They apologised but didn’t offer any time of intervention. I recommend this spot but please be warned check your bag .”

“First time visiting the Peckham branch and I must say I'm disappointed that all the other tasty honors the deal with rice and Chapman or water but this store refuse and told me only water when there was alot of the Chapman drink in the fridge and with the ofada same thing ..... They need to get in line with the rest of the tasty franchise as you will lose customers to other establishments on the high street”

“Very bad customer service. They even insult customers in my presence I saw them. What a shame. It was the light skinned lady.”

“It’s truly heartbreaking that a place I once looked forward to visiting for a lovely meal has now become somewhere I no longer enjoy going to. I bought T. Beans from the Peckham store, and it was full of sand I had to throw it away. I decided to give the Catford store a try, but to my surprise, it was even worse. I’m extremely disappointed. I’ve wasted almost £40 in just three days.”

“Customer service is poor , I mean very poor and rude. I ordered food by 1:30pm to be picked up by 3pm, got there 3:15 and the still nothing was prepared. I heard to wait extra 35min . No apology, no discount or compensation for time wasting. The food is sweet and brand is good but that branch staff needs orientation”
