  “We really didn't know what to expect but let ke tell you, if you're open to trying exciting flavour combinations, this is your spot! The food was delicious. Who know a cauliflower steak could taste so good. Portions were big enough to share. Loved the tequila cocktail ( can't remember the name). Great service and lovely venue”

  “Probably one of the best food experiences I ever had in my life. The food was amazing, so many new flavors discovered, in a such nice and warm atmosphere, definitely a special place to celebrate my birthday. Thanks to Aman who was great all night and made sure we were comfortable and had a good time!”

  “The location and ambience are really well curated and comfortable. The staff were attentive and friendly. The food was good, but didn’t quite reach a “wow” level and some dishes felt a bit overpriced for what they delivered. The cocktails were also fairly average. One disappointment was the “fresh lemonade,” which clearly wasn’t freshly made , it tasted like it came from lemon juice or cordial rather than freshly squeezed lemons, which makes a difference and it should be specified. Overall, it’s a nice spot and worth trying once, but I’m not sure it’s somewhere I’d return to regularly.”

  “We had a nice Sunday lunch here, sat outside. Everything we ordered was great. Smoky aubergine with lychee, a whole roasted cauliflower, shakshuka with flatbread, and a fresh Greek style salad. Sweet location”

  “Had a lovely Sunday lunch here, sat outside in the sun. Everything we ordered was great. Smoky aubergine with lychee, a whole roasted cauliflower, shakshuka with flatbread, and a fresh tomato salad. The sodas were good too. Loved the blackberry and lavender one. Nice spot”

  “I've had East Mediterranean food before in many places (including Abu Dhabi) but this was next level! The dishes are so delicious and fresh! Service is great, very friendly and fast so no need to worry about the allocated time slot. Try the cocktails: refreshing!”

  “Been on several occasions, including once during Covid restrictions. The team are always friendly and helpful, a welcoming environment set over two floors in the arches. Food is outstanding, big flavour small plates with a changing seasonal menu. A tad pricey, however considering the area it’s somewhat to be expected. Quality and innovation get top marks, as well as a range of tasty cocktails. The cocktails push the overall price up of course but they’re very tempting 😁”

  “We had a great dinning experience at Bala Baya. The food was delicious with a beautiful presentation. The service was great and we enjoyed a nice glass of Israeli wine. For food we had fried cauliflower, roasted cabbage with goat cheese, spiced pumpkin hummus, kabob dumplings. All of it was so delicious!”
