  “This is the restaurant that sets the benchmark, simple as that, a hidden gem of lush Italian food with flavours and portion sizes that leave you wondering why other restaurants can’t get it right. Giacomo’s is a gem: for me it is huge portions of perfect pasta; superbly prepared fish… and then there are the sides, Pommes Dauphinoise (oh those onions); Cauliflower cheese; creamed spinach; and a side order of spaghetti aioli.   “We ordered the spaghetti pesto and a tagliatelle with mushroom and sauce. By far the best pasta I’ve had in a long time. The service was lovely and welcoming. This was our first time here, but we’ll 100% be coming back again!”

  “Such delicious food! The chicken was very well cooked and I loved the mushroom sauce, the garlice chilli spaghetti was so tasty as well and the tiramisu was the perfect end to the meal! Everything seemed to be prepared with care and the service was very friendly as well”
