Customer Review Summary

Pizza draws the most praise, with reviewers calling it authentic and flavorful and one welcoming the gluten free option. Close behind are spaghetti carbonara, linguine, pollo Milanese and tiramisu, which one reviewer urges others to try. Families single out the kid's menu, especially a Mickey Mouse shaped pizza, and several describe friendly, welcoming staff. Criticism is specific. One diner found the tomato sauce bland, the margherita lacking fresh basil and the cheese stringy. Another reports slow service on a quiet day, ice cream like a block of ice, and a room cold enough to need a coat. A third describes being squashed together by the window and refused when asking to move, then told by a waiter there was no need to google the dessert menu. One parent celebrating a birthday was brought chocolate cake with a candle and a song, and the cake and ice cream were on the house.

“The food was absolutely delicious. Linguine, pollo Milanese, tiramisu - splendid. However, the service leaves a lot to be desired. All patrons were squashed in a tiny area by the window, sitting extremely closely to one another. When we asked if we could please move a little bit further away as we were having a private conversation, we were made to feel uncomfortable and questioned about the reasons behind our request. Eventually, we were quite crudely refused. Seeing as we’ve already placed our orders, we’ve decided to stay. But it definitely put a downer on the evening for a bit. Then, as we were thinking over the dessert menu, our waiter approached us and said that there’s no reason to be googling the options as he can simply explain them. ??!! Where on earth did that come from? Patronising much? So, to put it simply: amazing food, well done to the kitchen, but the front of the house service is pretty awful.”

“Nice and tasty pizza I must admit, but there were a couple of things wrong. Number 1: service is slow. It was pretty quiet, and I still found myself waiting a long time for somebody to notice me. Number 2: the ice cream was bad, just a block of ice as if it had been sitting in the back of the freezer for years. Number 3: it was too cold inside! I had to wear my coat as I was freezing (I did eat ice cream but that’s Italiano style). All in all, it’s a pleasant spot but they ought to make a few improvements.”

“Excellent service but fairly average tasting pizzas. The tomato sauce was bland and margherita had no fresh basil and stringy cheese. The base was decent.”
