Quick info
About Brasseria Notting Hill
Brasseria Notting Hill is a family-run Italian restaurant on Westbourne Grove in London, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner through the day. The dining room has flower wallpaper and 1920s-style decor, and a cafe is attached to the restaurant. The menu includes pizza with a truffle cream accompaniment and Veal Milanese, and tiramisu is on the dessert list. The bar pours cocktails and wine, so drinks work as well as a full meal. When the room fills up, the restaurant keeps a waiting list for tables. Guests who bring their dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out friendly, welcoming staff, from servers who recommended a wine to a hostess who stayed polite while handling a crowded Saturday morning waiting list. Food praise is varied. Some highlight the pizza, including a mortadella and pistacchio version and one with a light, crisp crust that pairs well with truffle cream. Others name the lasagna, burrata, veal Milanese, risotto alla Milanese, arancini al tartufo and tiramisu, and the chocolate mousse and fondue also earn mentions. Cocktails outside on the terrace are praised as fresh. The complaints centre on the kitchen. One reviewer found the pizza doughy and undercooked and could not finish it, another called the carbonara too salty and said the kitchen needs to speed up, and a third found the calamari fritti chewy. Several describe the prices as pricey, and one notes children caused sudden disturbances during a busy lunch. One group of visitors ate here on all three days of their London trip.

“We visited this restaurant on a saturday morning and it was crowded. They put us on a waiting list but it only took them lless than 10 minutes to get us a table. The hostess was very polite even though she was dealing with people trying to cut the line and avoiding the waiting list. The service was amazing. The food pretty good same as the coffe and everything we had. I will definetely come back againg to this place when in the area.”

“We spent three days in London, and we ended up eating here all three days. I think that says it all. The staff, the atmosphere, and the food were all absolutely exceptional. Every meal was delicious, everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the whole place had such a warm, lovely vibe. We looked forward to coming back every single day. Thank you for making our trip even more special. We can’t wait to visit again!”

“We had a wonderful family meal at Brasseria Notting Hill and thoroughly enjoyed every part of the experience. We tried the Tagliatelle Zucchine & Gamberi, Arancini al Tartufo, Mortadella e Pistacchio Pizza, Bistecca e Patatine, and Zucchini Fritti. Every dish was exceptionally good, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour. We also finished with the tiramisu, which was excellent. In fact, everything on the table was completely finished, which says a lot about how much we enjoyed the food. We were dining as a family with two children, and the service was excellent throughout. A special thank you to Marcus, who was precise, attentive, friendly, and always to the point. He made us feel very welcome and looked after us extremely well. We also really enjoyed the drinks and the overall atmosphere. We would highly recommend Brasseria Notting Hill to anyone looking for great Italian food, warm service, and a family-friendly dining experience.”

“The service was excellent, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. However, the food was disappointing. The pizza was very doughy and seemed undercooked, to the point that I couldn’t finish it. It was also quite pricey, which I understand may be due to the location, but personally, I wouldn’t recommend ordering the pizzas here.”
