Customer Review Summary

Friendly waiters draw the most praise, with reviewers describing a warm welcome, advice on the specialties, and a complimentary drink offered after lunch. On the food, diners name the chicken madras, chicken tikka masala, Tandoori Chicken and Chicken 65, while one calls the chicken in a starter platter super tender and another found the Mango Delight delicious. Some also describe the cooking as authentic, with generous portions. Opinions on the kitchen are mixed, though. One reviewer called the Chicken Biryani and Lamb Biryani terrible, another thought the samosas seemed precooked, and a third found the lamb tikka and chicken bhuna decent but not memorable. The very dim lighting made the menu and food hard to see. Service slipped for a few, with a lassi and a glass of wine that never arrived, a long wait for water, and a special offer the staff had to be reminded to honor. Still, the closing detail several share is the personal touch from the waiters, down to that free drink after lunch.

“French traveler here – we've never eaten Indian food this good! The service was lovely, with a wonderful waiter - shout-out to Shah for the great vibes and good mood (ans his little french words). They even offered us a complimentary drink after lunch. Incredible!”

“Warm welcome . Staff is most helpful except for one or two persons. Dishes are extremely rapid and sizzling. Mixed Tandoori is nice but I tasted better. Prices are very reasonable. The big negative point are the restrooms. I was concerned for food hygiene when I saw them before leaving.”

“I really enjoy the food here. I have recent my been to India and I think the food here is really authentic and tastes good. We have also tried Bangladesh dishes and they were really good too. We ordered a platter for starter and the chicken was super tender. The deserts are really good too. The service here was unbeatable. Rafiq is super friendly and attentive. We had an amazing dining experience tonight because of him.”

“This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had in London. The only good dishes were the Tandoori Chicken and Chicken 65. However, the Chicken Biryani and Lamb Biryani were absolutely terrible. I have never had such bad biryani in my life. The taste, quality, and overall preparation were very disappointing. The restaurant also did not seem clean. I noticed small flies inside, and because the lighting was so dim, it was difficult to see them. That made the dining experience even worse. The service was poor. The staff were not welcoming, rarely smiled, and came across as rude. On top of that, they added a 12.5% service charge despite the poor service. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The food quality, cleanliness, service, and value for money were all below expectations. I would not recommend this restaurant”
