Customer Review Summary

Roast duck is the dish reviewers raise most, from the roasted Cantonese duck one diner craved all the way from Devon to the crispy duck, peking duck pancakes, and roasted duck alongside curry lamb. Dim sum comes close behind, with several calling it authentic and flavourful, and one takeaway order arrived still warm. Others single out the crab or lobster with black bean sauce, Singapore noodles, Szechuan prawns, fried rice in lotus leaf, and chilli and garlic tofu, with vegan and vegetarian options clearly labelled. Portions are described as massive, and staff are called friendly and quick. The one recurring complaint comes from a returning diner who found the food far too salty, citing the beef with black bean sauce on one visit and the scallop, prawn and aubergine dishes on the next, and who suspects the dim sum is pre-made. Another calls the meal expensive. A lobster deal recommended by the owner and the wall of celebrity photos at the entrance both draw mentions.

“I don’t leave reviews unless I’m really blown away but this place is unreal. So classy, the staff is so attentive and gentle. Food is unreal. We ordered a few different starters and mains not knowing that the portions are huge. Too full to even finish the starters let alone having the mains. Wasabi crispy beer is to die for 🤤. This has to be in my top 5 restaurants in London.”

“Top tier Cantonese restaurant in central London. Magnificent dim sum available for dinner. Never disappoints.”

“The good was excellent. We ordered far too much as a table, the portions were massive. Clearly labelled vegan and veg options. The friend rice in lotus leaf was delicious! As was the chilli and garlic tofu to start. We also had veg dumplings and shredded potato with egg. All delicious. It was expensive but lovely.”
