About The Craft Beer Co. Brixton
The Craft Beer Co. Brixton is a pub on Brixton Station Rd in London, built around a list of more than 400 bottled beers from around the world. Micro-brewed cask ales and small batch craft beers run alongside the bottles, including real ales on keg and cask. Drinks can be ordered in thirds or halves, and the team can give portion sizes when asked. The pub spreads over two floors, with a comedy night held upstairs. The food menu includes a curry, and bar snacks such as a scotch egg. Tables can be booked. The pub is close to Brixton station and the Academy, and it works as a stop for pre-show drinks.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return above all for the beer selection, praising a large range of real ales on keg and cask, including several vegan and unfined options, with a few suggesting thirds or halves to sample more. Close behind, the location by the station and the academy makes it a pre-show and post-show stop, and several mention the outdoor seating, including chairs set facing two big screens for a World Cup semi final. Staff are described as friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere as relaxed and lively. Food draws smaller praise, with a decent scotch egg and one of the best curries one diner had eaten. The main complaints concern crowding and speed. One Friday night visitor found no room inside because the upstairs comedy night seats were reserved, stood outside, and left after a long wait for food, while noting an extra member of staff might have sped up the queue. Others point to only one proper, non-fruit cider and typical London prices. One reviewer notes that portion sizes aren't displayed but can be asked for to manage the cost.

“Absolutely top notch bar. Large selection of beers so something for everybody to try. A few thirds or halves is the way to go! Plenty of space and seating. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Nice relaxed atmosphere and vibe. Pretty reasonably priced too especially for the area! Nice bar snacks too - decent scotch egg!”

“We booked a table for the screening of the World Cup semi final. They had arranged chairs outside facing 2 massive screens. Everything was organised brilliantly. The selection of beers was fantastic!”

“Great little stop in spot near the academy for pre show beers, or post decompression whilst the show-goers leave on the tube. Portion recommendations aren't displayed, but can be asked for to manage pricing. Excellent selection of ale on keg/cask.”

“We came here on a Friday night after having done some beer tasting. It was busy which was good to see, but meant there wasn't any space inside to sit, but they were doing a comedy night upstairs, which meant all the seats were reserved. The service for how busy it was you couldn't complain about, but an extra member of staff might have sped the queue up. Beer was good, a large enough selection, we had to stand outside due to lack of seating inside and the wait for food was too long so we finished our pint and went else where. Close location to the station which makes it a great starting or end point to meet at.”

“Great little pub. Excellent range of real ales, including several great vegan/unfined options. However, only one proper (not fruit flavoured) cider. Typical London prices. Handy location at the heart of Brixton near the train station and Brixton market.”
