Customer Review Summary
The caveats are specific. One diner thought the beef slightly overdone and the roast pricey next to others. A diner who avoids milk was served a nut roast without two sides or gravy because they contained milk, and called the menu limited for dietary needs. Another found the bar staff miserable and cold, and had to grab a sausage roll off the bar without a plate or napkin. A reviewer who earlier complained about children running around the pub says new policies already seem to have improved things.

“My local pub friendly with nice clientele. It's one of those places where you can go and chill. We go there often and always have the best experience.”

“I previously left a lower review because the last couple of times I visited, children had been running rampant around the pub which really affected the atmosphere. However, they’ve now introduced new policies to address this, and it already seems much improved. If they stick to enforcing this, it’s a 5-star pub. Great selection of drinks, friendly and welcoming staff, and a genuinely warm, relaxed vibe.”

“The atmosphere seemed really lovely, it's my local pub (although I've only been here twice now) so I went in to watch a palace game. The people working seemed miserable and annoyed when having to pour me a drink, not a comment on them, most likely to do with management as I know what this job can be like. Food wise, I have only tried the sausage roll, very tasty but was not offered a plate or napkin, I had to just grab it off the bar myself. Locals seem to be happy here, but after my second visit and cold service, I'm struggling to see why.”

“Small menu, but big portions and excellent quality. When they say the large nachos is for sharing, they mean it! Wide range of drinks, cosy indoors and really nice outdoors now the street's been done up. Great local pub 👍”
