Customer Review Summary
Breakfast is the main draw, with reviewers describing it as hot, fresh and generous in portion, and quick even when the pub is busy. Close behind are the friendly, helpful staff and the value. One diner brought an elderly father before an appointment, and another praised ordering drinks online for fast service. A few also mention well-cooked food, nice beer, a warm atmosphere and a clean room with plenty of space. The complaints are fewer but more detailed, and they centre on service. Several reviewers describe drinks being refused to a customer out with her grandchildren, and a duty manager declining to discuss it or give a refund. One says an app payment showed as paid but the drink never arrived, and asking about it got an attitude. Another found the 10oz Tuesday Steak Club steak very fatty, with an overcooked side sauce stuck to the dish, and was told the pub is not responsible for the food it receives.

“Took my Service dog here and was refused. Very disgusted. I am home from Canada for a funeral and even tho I had my dogs vest on. A card with his picture. I was still refused. I looked into it and it doesn’t matter that am from out the country. The law says I should have been served. I have left my name for Josh the Manager as well as going in to talk to him. But haven’t seen or heard from him. Disgusting.”

“Took my 90 year old dad there before an eye appointment nearby. Staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, food was decent and unbelievable value and there was plenty of space, although it was busying up. Will happily go back for his next appointment.”

“Last Thursday evening I witness a customer who had been refused her drinks for no reason? She asked the manager on duty why that happened as she was out with her adult grandchildren as she had pointed out. The duty manager, a young woman, tall with a ponytail refused to discuss the alleged problem and refused to give her a refund. I was absolutely astounded how unprofessional this was. It has really made me think twice about going there again as I had a similar situation last year over paying for a drink I never received. My app said it was paid for but I never got my drink but I got an attitude when I asked. I put that down as a one off but clearly it is not. Do better please”
