  “Spent over 100 quid which is fine to learn.. but after 8 shots double jack n cokes two pitchers double vodka n coke etc .and not be drunk or tippsy and realise its water and im getting had off isnt good So avoid. Simple as I dont drink so iv just came home and should be rat arsed but nope .waterd down crap .. im not that bothered because I don't drink only special occasions as this was a double birthday bash .. Friends are all fuming and came home sober.. after drinking coloured water all night.. lesson learnt for us all .jolly miller queens drive . Xxxx”

  “A very enjoyable time we experienced at the Jolly Miller we went to watch the Football the atmospher was great although it was very busy we got served right away. The staff are always very friendly the service and the food has always been very good when we have eaten at The Jolly Miller. Thanks All”

  “Such a great end to a fun filled day! After spending the weekend away with family we decided on this flaming grill as heard great things. It did not disappoint the staff were incredible so helpful and the manager Eddie even jumped in with personal recommendations of the menu. Which did not disappoint would highly recommend if in the area we will be back at our next family get together”

  “We had a wonderful time here. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was cosy and welcoming, and the staff were lovely. It’s exactly what you hope for from a good British pub — great food, good service and a relaxing place to enjoy time together. Highly recommend!”

  “Not terrible but not the best. Most the staff were happy to serve us but one didnt seem like she could be bothered, food was ok shame they didnt offer minced beef in the tacos id have prefered that over the burnt ends or any of the other options all the food was hot and came out quite quickly the table was left for a while with our plates just sat there and no one came to take them it wasnt busy either. When ordering drinks they told us what we wanted wasn't available so we chose a different flavour of the same drink but after we paied they came back and said they dont have that one either so we had to choose something else again, not great imo. Over all it wasn't terrible but could definatly be improved.”

  “​We recently visited The Jolly Miller on Mill Lane for a family outing, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Finding a venue that checks all the boxes for a multigenerational family dinner can be a bit of a challenge, but this pub made everything completely effortless. From the moment we walked in, we felt incredibly welcome. ​First and foremost, the accessibility is excellent. One of our main priorities was finding a place that is genuinely good for wheelchair users, and The Jolly Miller delivered. The layout is spacious enough to navigate comfortably without feeling like you are constantly in the way, which immediately took the stress out of the arrival. ​Beyond the accessibility, it is an incredibly accommodating spot for smaller kids. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and bustling enough that you don't have to worry about the little ones making a bit of noise. The staff were fantastic with them, showing genuine patience and kindness. ​Speaking of the team, the service was lovely throughout. Every staff member we encountered was attentive, polite, and efficient, ensuring we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. ​And, of course, the food was lovely! Everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meals. It’s classic, comforting pub food done right—served hot, fresh, and in generous portions that satisfied both the adults and the kids. ​Overall, we had a wonderful family time here. If you are looking for a accessible, child-friendly pub in West Derby with great food and a welcoming vibe, we cannot recommend The Jolly Miller enough. We will definitely be back!”

  “My boyfriend and I stopped by the Jolly Miller in Liverpool for a late lunch and had such a lovely experience. We were warmly welcomed by the manager, Ben, which set the tone straight away. The atmosphere was really relaxed and welcoming, perfect for an easy afternoon meal. The food was delicious, fresh and came out quickly, which we really appreciated. A special thank you to Mellie and Cora for the amazing service — they were both so friendly, attentive and made us feel really welcome throughout. Great food, great service and a really nice place to spend the day in. We’ll definitely be back!”

  “When arriving there was someone hammering putting a shelving unit on the immediate floor area which carried on for about 30 minutes we only waited for about 10 minutes for the meal to arrive my wife had ordered an American burger which was nice, the only problem was the cheese was a cold slice put on top of the burger.my meal was completely different.i had ordered a sirloin steak medium and what I received was a fatty grisly piece of inedible meat ,I tried to find a piece I could eat but gave up .the waitress suggested I have another one but the chef had told her that all the meat was the same so it wasn’t worth me to have another one . We waited for the apple pie dessert but that wasn’t much better as as the pastry was lukewarm and doughy.we left taking the meat with us back home to give to our dog.we definitely will not be eating there again.”
