  “Hands down the best cakes I've ever had! I had taken away the strawberry and cream last year during our casual visit to Lincoln and was blown away. However couldn't remember the name of the place. This year when I went back I walked the same path I took to finally come across the cafe again! Oh I was so relieved. Bought a couple more this time 😁 if you are a lover of cakes this place is a must!”

  “This is a very pretty shop which is quite cramped for space when it comes to take out orders. The prices are ok and so is the gelato but not up there with the best ones.”

  “Amazing little place at the bottom of Steep Hill. The cappuccino is quite possibly the best ever and don't pass up on the maple, candied walnut, and blueberry carrot cake. Believe the reviews....I would definitely stop here again.”

  “What a gem of a cafe this is. Stunning cakes and sweet cake treats. The Gelato is delicious, I had the rhubarb and custard, yummy. Also purchased some cakes and they were delicious. If you are ever in Lincoln and are heading up or down steep hill, this little slice of heaven should be a must.”

  “Wow!!!! First of all the shop itself.. gorgeous aesthetic vibes “instagram heaven”! The staff were so friendly & welcoming, on to the bakes..we was blown away by the choice and variety of bakes, sweet treats and drinks to choose from! We went for melt in your mouth worthy brownies & they did not disappoint & we can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu. Such a beautiful little spot at the bottom of the steep in Lincoln. Gorgeous spot!”

  “Very welcoming staff on entry. Decor was modern, cozy and very chic. Atmosphere was very quiet and relaxed. The food/drink though....outstanding! Cakes/blondies/ice creams etc had a great selection. I'm not a religious man but "oh my god"! Floated out of that place on a sugar high let me tell you 😆 Would definitely recommend and return Pic Twix blondie, Ferrero Rocher ice cream and Cinnabon latte ❤️”

  “What amazing cakes, ice cream and sweet treats!! I tried my first ever cookie pie/ brookie here and was blown away by such a sweet, delicious treat. Such a gorgeously decorated cafe with a good value for money menu, plenty of choices and fantastic staff.”

  “Why did I take so long to try a gelato from this cafe? Today it was sunny and so I stopped for a take out two scoops of ice cream in a biscuit cone. So glad I did as the cafe is really pretty and the staff friendly. I chose vanilla and blackcurrant & liquorice scoop. In Italy I’ve had liquorice gelato and loved it but I’ve never seen it in the uk. Both scoops of gelato were delicious and rich and the deep flavour of blackcurrant and liquorice is earthy and moreish. The cake selection looked great. Cant wait for another gelato from Cafe Gelato as this is one of the best I’ve had outside of Italy.”

  “The price-performance ratio is very high and it is definitely the best gelato experience I have had in the UK. There are many flavors to choose from, and even more, the chocolate ice cream cone. Both flavors are only 6.3 pounds, which definitely worth it in UK! by the way lemon and pistachio are definitely highly recommended”
