  “i came in this morning with my friend, we had such a lovely time! I got the fresh fruit waffle and it was so good, everything tasted really fresh and it was such a nice breakfast - not to mention the gluten free consideration Also i have to mention Vicky because she was genuinely amazing. She was so lovely, friendly and welcoming and honestly made not only the whole experience, but also my DAY even better. You can really tell she actually cares about making people feel comfortable and looked after, and she was just an absolute star the whole time. Couldn’t have asked for better service!! The food was lovely, the place had such a nice atmosphere and Vicky was honestly the cherry on top. Will definitely be coming back!!”

  “Enjoyable quaint place. Varied coffee options, with different brewing methods and different beans to choose from. Staff are kind, and the food is yummy ❤️ the waffles are definitely a highlight, so many options for toppings as well. Edit: went back the second day and it wasn't as good, so maybe it varies depending on who is working.”

  “This place exceeded mine and my partner expectations by a mile!! The waffles were absolutely amazing and they were so fresh and perfectly paired with the rest of the very well cooked breakfast. The service was great and I don’t think we waited longer than 10 mins!! The place itself is very clean, well kept and staff are super lovely which make the atmosphere feel so inviting. We’ve already decided that we will be back next time to try the sweet waffles and cannot wait!”

  “I stopped by Madame Waffles in Lincoln because the place looked absolutely beautiful and inviting. That morning I was really looking forward to having a decent waffle, but unfortunately the experience didn’t live up to expectations at all. The waffle itself was incredibly disappointing—dry, lacking freshness, and honestly not much better than something you could pick up cheaply at a supermarket like Lidl. What made it worse was the price, which felt completely unjustified for the quality served. The toppings were also very poor and didn’t add anything to improve the overall taste. It’s a shame because the setting and atmosphere are lovely, and it’s what drew me in to begin with. But for the price charged, I expected something far better in both quality and presentation. Sadly, I wouldn’t return or recommend it based on the food alone.”

  “How far would you travel to for a waffle? If they taste this amazing, I would travel the moon and back. I've never ever had savoury waffles before but this was 😮‍💨. Waffles were so light yet fluffy. I ordered the spicy chorizo waffle, partner ordered the halloumi and added bacon slices. They also serve amazing coffee! Sooooo worth the drive! Need to go back to try the sweet waffles soon 😋”

  “I recommend sitting downstairs, it is in a sort of Cellar like room which was cool. The service was very friendly and the food came out in good time. I got the waffle breakfast and it wasn’t the best breakfast in the world, the mushrooms really over powered the plate and made everything taste of the same thing. The waffle alternative to bread/hash browns worked surprisingly well. My friends were all very impressed with what they ordered. I think next time I will go for one of the sweet options on the menu! All in all a good experience.”

  “In a great location in the centre of Lincoln, this place was a great find. It looks very small but has extra seating upstairs. Their method of baking things into the waffles is amazing. I enjoyed a pecan waffle with maple syrup & bacon on top. My friend had both cheese & ham baked in, served with a side salad. Staff were friendly and swift. Will definitely visit again.”

  “Not my first visit here and not my last. We love this place so much. We have only ever been for breakfast but absolutely love it and often drive from Doncaster (1 hour) just to come here. Every breakfast we have is absolutely perfect as is the coffee (see image). Would recommend the freshly squeezed apple juice to anyone, it is fantastic. Would also recommend people to this place but be aware, the building has steep narrow stairs. Have never sat outside but the outside tables look good.”
