About Jenny's Cafe
Jenny's Cafe is a cafe and breakfast restaurant on Saltergate in Lincoln, serving a menu that runs from breakfast plates to burgers. The full English breakfast is available, and chips come as a side. Seating spans indoor, outdoor and upstairs areas, giving diners a choice of where to sit, and the outdoor tables suit those who want to eat outside with a dog, since dogs are welcome. High chairs are set out for families with young children. The cafe operates on a walk-in basis with no reservations, and it opens daily. It occupies a small space that fills up with customers, so seating can be tight at busier times. Its position near Lincoln's High Street puts it within easy reach for passers-by looking for a quick stop.

Customer Review Summary
The complaints are specific. One reviewer waited for a forgotten tuna salad on a first visit, then received a wrong order and a dry jacket potato on a second. Another had chips arrive after finishing a panini and found the mayo packets seemed off, though staff apologised and waived the charge. A parent says chicken nuggets tasted funny and a cheeseburger was unappetising, and notes the ladies' toilet did not lock and had no toilet roll. One reviewer alleges raw chicken, a dirty kitchen and a plate thrown at them, and describes the owner as shouting at staff. Others call the cafe clean, and one reviewer's table was cleared of empty plates before leaving.

“Food wasn’t great I ordered chips with my panini and they forgot my chips, chips was brought out after I finished my panini. The mayo in the little packets seemed to be off when we open them! Which put us off the food. We did tell a member of staff and they was very quick to help and very apologetic and didn’t charge us for the food. Nice little cafe needs some improvement”
