Anna's Place is a small cafe on West Parade in Lincoln, where breakfast and brunch are cooked fresh for each order. The menu includes an English breakfast, Italian fancy toast and toasted sourdough with smashed avocado, poached eggs, roasted cherry tomatoes and greens. Customer Review Summary
Breakfast is the draw, and reviewers describe it as fresh and cooked to order. The standout is toasted sourdough with smashed avocado and two poached eggs, served with roasted cherry tomatoes and greens. Others single out the English breakfast, the Italian fancy toast, and a vegetarian breakfast with scrambled eggs. Coffee comes up close behind and is called good and excellent. Friday pizza night also earns praise for homemade pizzas made fresh to order, a bring your own alcohol option and a cosy atmosphere, and one reviewer calls the pizza evenings not to be missed. Another says the cakes looked too good to leave without trying. The one complaint is that service was a little on the slow side during one breakfast visit. Staff are described as lovely and friendly, and one family says the team catered for their daughter at lunch. One diner liked the health kick so much that they ordered it twice.

“Absolutely loved it here! The food was honestly the best I’ve had in a long time — everything was fresh, and tasty.. The staff were lovely too and the whole place had a really nice feel to it. I’ll definitely be going back, especially to try some of the cakes next time… they looked far too good to leave without trying! 😂 Would 100% recommend giving this place a try. 👌”

“Nestled in the quiet houses of West Parade is this lovely little cafe. It is small, but very quaint and lovingly decorated. My partner and I called in for breakfast. The service was a little on the slow side, but we weren’t in a hurry, and when the breakfast came, it was well worth the wait. Quality ingredients lovingly made in front of you. My vegetarian breakfast was delicious, those scrambled eggs I had with it were just elite. The menu is diverse, so there’s something for everyone here. I highly recommend this place to everybody.”

“The Chef.is amazing at doing the health kick. (Which is a item on the menu) I had to order it twice. Both the (chef/cook/owner) and the waitress make you feel welcome. The cooks husband must love going home at night. (Any discounts available, hahaha)”

We ordered the English breakfast and the Italian fancy toast - every single bit was cooked to perfection and made with love and care, seasoned perfectly and a filling portion. The girl serving was lovely and attentive, will definitely be back and recommend to anyone looking for a great breakfast spot! Anna’s absolutely smashing it and all of the hard work she puts in is definitely worth it”
