Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return most for the all day breakfast, led by the Full Monty with bacon, sausages, two fried eggs, mushrooms, tinned tomatoes and toast, which one diner found delicious and fairly quick to arrive. The mini Monty, which comes with a cup of coffee, is called great value. Close behind are the coffees and cakes, and staff are repeatedly described as lovely and friendly. One parent notes the team checked the ingredients in a hot chocolate and had a milk alternative ready for a lactose intolerant child. A couple of reviewers call the cafe small, and a few find it a little pricey, though one still felt it was worth it. Two reviews describe real problems. One customer received a scone that was dry and tasteless after being refrozen, with no replacement or refund offered. Another, carrying a small dog, was asked to wait outside for a takeaway drink, waited too long and left without it.

“The scone’s texture and flavour suffered from refreezing making it dry and tasteless. Girl serving said she couldn’t give me another as they were still defrosting under the counter. No refund offered. Left the cafe, scone uneaten.”

“Very disappointing first impression at Café Latte today. I carried my small dog inside to order a takeaway drink, as there was no visible signage stating dogs weren't allowed. Staff asked me to wait outside, which I was completely happy to do. Unfortunately, after waiting far too long and running out of time, I had to walk away without my drink. It’s a shame, as the café looks lovely and I was hoping to return with friends. Please consider using my wasted £3.20 to buy a "No Dogs Allowed" sign for the window so other customers don't experience this. I won't be returning.”
